I am a watch-lover who has always appreciated a moonphase complication, so I went looking for a wall clock with a moonphase complication. There is exactly one such clock on all of Amazon, and this is it. The clock works and looks exactly as advertised and expected. One AA battery in the back, with a small dial to set the time; moonphase is a different dial, but all very easy to set. Time is as per normal; for the moonphase, look up the date of the last full moon, and advance the moon dial to full. Then for each day that has passed since the full moon, rotate the moonphase dial one position ahead until you arrive at today’s date. Same way you set a watch’s moonphase in other words. I have had it cycle once fully, no issues. Moonphase needs to be reset every 2 years, but after 2 years, you’d probably need to adjust the time as well, so no extra maintenance. Dial is attractive and moonphase is very nice—the moon is sort of reflective/glows, which is a nice touch. Only complaints: no reason adding a moonphase disc should increase the price of a wall clock from $18 to $89, but for $89, it is a nice clock; and also the hands are a little thin to read from a distance, especially against the dark blue of moonphase as opposed to white of the clock face. If you are here, it’s probably because you want a moonphase wall clock; this is indeed a fine moonphase wall clock, and it’s the only one on Amazon, so buy with ease.

The clock itself is very attractive. I’ve had it on my living room wall for a few months. One day a couple of weeks ago I noticed that instead of 11:17 it said 7:25. Figured the batteries needed changing. I changed the battery but that didn’t fix the problem. So I put new batteries in. The second hand sweeps but the time remains at 7:25. Very frustrating and disappointing. I was hoping it came with a warranty but have checked my receipts and wasn’t able to locate one. Very disappointing.

I bought this clock to replace a 30+ year old moon phase clock that I liked very much. This clock is beautiful and silent. It's not as well constructed as the old clock with its solid oak frame. It has straight glass, not curved like the old one either. These sound like complaints, but it also means it's not as heavy (nice when you are lifting it over your head to hang it on the wall) and I'm not worried about glass I'm not going to find a replacement for should it get broken. The color of it is also an upgrade, like the red oak better than the yellowish oak that was fashionable in it's time and dated now. If it's slow to keep time even though you put a new battery in it, it may be the battery is defective. The same happened to me. I never got a bad battery before, not from Duracells that I didn't get from a discount store. I put in a fresh battery from the same pack and now it works as it should.

Solid clock, keeps good time, silent movement, and lovely design. Easy to set, easy to hang, and good instructions. I love it!

This clock is far better (and larger) looking on my wall than it was in the Photoshopped store page images. Searching for too long to find a moon phase clock, this was the only modern (affordable) one I was able to find and it is very nicely designed. The wood is beautifully finished and the glass is nicely polished. Most importantly, the smooth sweep second hand makes this clock absolutely silent when running. My one dislike is that the moon dial is too dark, making it unreadable in dim light.

Attractive and functional, I like this clock quite a bit. I did have to push harder than I thought would be good for a clock in order to move the moon phase when setting it but that seems to just be how it is. My only note is that due to the moon phase display it can be hard to see the hour hand (depending on room lighting) when it's over it - silver hands or some sort of accent on the hand would help there. But not a big deal.

It is a very nice clock and is well made. The only issue is the battery only lasts about a month.

Really happy with the clock finishes off my room really nice

購入後約1か月で動かなくなったので電池を交換したところ正常に動き始めましたが、その後また約１か月で止まってしまいました。２回とも電池を調べましたが充分残量がありました。 動いているときは時間の遅れなどはありませんが、不良品でしょうか？
