Firefly FFLX Solid Body Electric Guitar,Mahogany Guitar body,Stainless steel and ball end frets,rosewood fretboard(Gloss Cream Color)

Where do I start. This guitar is easily the best guitar I have at the moment. I own a squire strat, a Les Paul special 2 and an Ibanez Gio 7 string. While the Ibanez Gio is easily the second best I have, the quality of this firefly is just miles better. The tuners are great and hold tuning well. The neck is the perfect size. It genuinely is stunning to look at. The functionality is perfect in the aspect that I’m not running in through a $1000 amp. It’s perfect for an at home session with a cheaper amplifier but would be just as good with a really good amp. The only thing I would recommend is maybe getting better pickups, but if you’re not a firm believer in the whole pickup theory you’ll probably be just fine with these. I absolutely am loving this guitar tho. Comfortable to play, frets are not sharp at all. Another gripe I have is the fret board is a little scratchy so bends do feel weird at times, but it doesn’t affect the play ability at all. Firmly recommend. 10/10 for the value and the beauty of it.

I own about 20 Chinese guitars and seldom leave product reviews on anything. However, I wanted to make certain to leave stellar feedback on the Firefly product and this exception guitar in particular: The level of quality on this guitar far surpasses any previous Chinese guitars that I have owned- and even better than many of the big name manufacturers. It was set up beautifully right from the factory (something never seen in ANY guitar I have bought (and I'm 67 years old).. The harmonics and intonation were perfect. The action was very low with only the low E string buzzing slightly. The fret ends/edges are perfectly smooth, the instrument stays in tune and plays wonderfully. A fabulous instrument- and at this price point? Truly a"no-brainer" purchase.

Probably the best $220 Ive ever spent on Amazon. For context, I own many many $1k plus dollar guitars to compensate for my poor playing ability. I took the gamble on this instrument out of nostalgia for cheap guitars, and as a platform to practice my amateur luthier skills on. What I received was far more than the "good bones" I had hoped for. She came out of the styrofoam smelling like paint, glue, and China, with a reasonably usable set up. After my own rushed setup (little nut filing, quick fret polish, truss adjustment, and lowering of the bridge), she plays perfectly, even to my autistic standards of perfection. I assumed the electronics would be junk, and planned on swapping everything out for something ignorantly expensive, but was proven wrong. Legitimately, the cheapo stock pickups are perfectly fine, even when compared to all the cool guy big brands I run in everything else. Conclusion, for my example at least, this guitar absolutely competes with the entry level guitars from the big names (ESP LTD 256, Schecter Omen, etc.). This guitar is like the new hot girl that just moved in to the trailer park down the street. Sure, when you look really close you might be able to see the fetal alcohol syndrome, but she's more than worth taking home!

This solid Body neck through guitar is absolutely impressive for a little over $200. The set up wasn't bad. Action was good. Only had one fret buzz, the only thing is they use 8 gauge strings and the frets on this guitar are very little. The Crown on the frets could be better and the frets need a good polishing. The sound is really pretty good for the pickups that are installed. I will replace the pickups with Seymour Duncan or EMG. The guitar is worth the investment of 2 or 3 hundred $. Once the pickups are changed, the threats are polished and a slight action adjustment. You've got yourself a good four digit.guitar!. I did find a hardshell guitar Case from gator for about 160. The investment is well worth the protection. All in all, I would give it a 4 and a 1/2 star rating. Very happy with. This Chinese model.

Such an amazing guitar straight up ! This is my second firefly guitar. The only cons I can say is the stock strings. Change them and your guitar will sound a heck of a lot better tone wise . I got the firefly fflx classic & the elite . Superb guitars ! Definitely a brand that has upped its game on all levels as far as quality , feel , tone an overall sound .

Bought this about a month after my American made Strat, and do not regret it at all. I'm not going to claim it's better than the Strat. but I play it far more than I play my former go-to. Factory setup was nearly spot on. Action was set to a perfect for balance between playability and avoiding fret buzz (ymmv), frets were even and well finished with no sharp edges with a binding the full length of the finger board to prevent fret sprout, and intonation was nearly dead on, being just slightly flat on the low E and the a strings. All I had to do was restring, tune up, and play. Tuning hardware is solid and stays in tune. The gold hardware combined with the dark purple burst is also very easy on the eyes. I was concerned that I'd get a poorly built guitar in need of a ton of setup and tweaks. What I got has a build quality equal to my Strat with better setup from the factory than the Strat got from the music store that sold it.

This guitar was over what I was expecting. The finish was ok there were 2 paint defects near the neck joint on the top of the body. Set up was excellent pots are great no scratching. The frets were perfect and level. The inlay work was great and shiny no rough spots.and the humbuckers sound as good as a set of SD I have in a les paul. Tuners were a little loose and will lose tune after a couple of hours of playing but that is not a big deal.

Hands down the BEST affordable guitar manufacturer in the world! I now own 6 Firefly guitars. The leap in quality over the past 6-7 years is remarkable. Stainless ball-ended frets that are polished near as nice as my USA Jackson's. You'll probably want to swap pickups or hardware...but even the stock pieces are just fine. Love this brand!
