Bought as a gift for my cat and bookad daughter. She absolutely loved it.

Bought it for the wife to read to the cats at bed time and they absolutely love the story.

Gave it to my teacher, safe to say she thought I was mad but her partner loved it so🤷‍♂️

If you’re looking for 100 pages of the word “meow” (which to be fair is exactly how it is described!) then this is the book for you. I kind of hoped for more, perhaps a few cute cat photos - but no it really is just a book where the only word is “meow”. My daughter loves it, and amused herself for a couple of days reading meow in various different tones of voice. But she quickly got bored with it. It was a good gimmick for a short time, now it has been forgotten about.

A classic of its kind. The author's immaculately measured, hypnotic prose coupled with their delightful penchant for onomatopoeic wordplay recalled such literary masterpieces as 'Woof', 'Baaaa' and 'Ribbit'. I demand a sequel.

I cannot see the point of this book as it only contains one word - Meow !! BUT my 9 year old granddaughter loved it ! We cant both be right, but seeing as the book was for her and she had asked for it then i suppose it has to have a good rating !

I bought it as a present for a friend. This is maybe just personal preference but if Mr. Meow's book had punctuation would have been better. My opinion
