Works great. Good for any pool drain, blocks most stuff from getting sucked into pipes. Highly recommend. If you dont have an infinity pool, you can skip the rest of this. I needed it for my infinity edge pool's overflow basin drain, which has a higher need to block junk from getting into pipe and blocking its anti-back-flow valve. The way infinity pools work is you pump water from basin, which is lower than the pool level, thru anti-back-flow valve, into pool until it overflows back into the basin, creating a waterfall effect. But when the pump is off, the water wants to flow backward out of pool thru the pipe into lower level basin, until the pool level drops to level of basin, So there is a spring-loaded anti-back-flow valve in the pipe that lets water come from basin, but not flow backward back into basin. So you have to keep leaves, grass, etc from getting stuck in that valve and breaking its seal, allowing the water to flow backward. Not good, loose a foot of water or so. If you are thinking of getting a pool, skip the infinity edge. Looks cool, but adds to the complexity and potential for problems. In general, a pain in the butt. I'm considering just filling mine in so I dont have to worry about the pool losing a foot of water every now and then when I'm not monitoring it daily. ... in fairness, the valve has only gotten stuck open twice in 10 years, but still a pain to worry about and deal with.

Cover fit well as a replacement for the main drain covers in floor of pool. They were installed two months ago and so far no issues. Good value.

Great quality

Fit perfect in my old Tropicana Pool here in Tampa Florida. To remove old main drain cover in my inground pool, I took a piece of 6 ft 1 inch PVC, heated end with heat gun and pushed a phillips screwdriver into the end. This allowed me to unscrew the 2 screws holding the old cover. Once removed, I put the 2 old screws into the new cover, and swam to the bottom and positioned 1 screw in the hole, then used the PVC pipe to turn a screw a couple times just to start it. I then swam down to position screw 2. Used PVC pipe from the surface to tighten both. No scuba tanks required. Remove screwdriver by heating up PVC again. EZ PZ......

This is good quality but definitely measure the holes for your cover. The screws that were provided actually didn't fit. I drilled some new holes to make it work. Still better option than more expensive ones
