And the adults in her life think they're pretty cute too.She wears a size 6 shoe and has a chubby foot. These (size 6) fit perfectly with a little room to grow. The t-strap gives good support. The sole is heavy and has a really good grip. That being said, they are made of vinyl (that explains the mentioned "chemical smell" which is not chemical at all, just the normal smell of vinyl). It means the red material is very thin, get's deformed quickly, and the strap area is very flimsy (velcro does work well). If you are careful in storing them with fillers, etc, they can last a while. Just keep in mind it's vinyl. We have gotten so many compliments on them and our little one has only worn them once.They are very sturdy — a bit stiff. They did not go on very easily, but once on our daughter could walk well in them.
