Very hard wearing despite appearing and feeling as if they are flimsy. I have done many an MTB ride, and yes, you only really get the same level of protection as wearing roady lycra shorts, but they are hugely more functional. lots of pockets. they stretch in the right places and are very lightweight. you will benefit from a lightweight belt as the fastener looks flimsy and personally im not sure i would trust it, but its held very well regardless, I use a Karimoor belt from sports direct for this, for only 3.99, as it fits perfectly through the 2 provided belt loops. sizing is very good as they have a wide range of size due to having elasticated waist. Im currently 35 inch waist and XL is plenty big enough, could do with Large for less bagginess round the bum area. Fortunately they dont have padding so thats great if you have a short liner of choice you like to wear, or if you have ergonomic saddle that makes it more uncomfortable to have padding like I do.I was so impressed with these shorts, i bought 3 pairs.

Like you, I spent some time reading reviews, and I finally plumped for these shorts. Well I have been pleasantly surprised. I have used them almost constantly since while chilling out and on holiday. The pros are they are really comfortable, and stretch to accomodate you, I am 38" waist and the XLs fit like a glove. The shorts are multi-paneled and that helps with the fit, have plenty of pockets which were really useful on holiday, and as another review points out are slightly flared out at the bottom - which is no bother at all - they look great. I have used them a lot over the past two month and they still look great, can't say they have noticeably worn, the sticker is peeling (who cares). Well worth spending your hard-earned on.

I've recently started cycling and wanted to purchase some appropriate clothing with a few requirements; Something lightweight, comfy and would not get caught up while peddling but above all - loose fitting. I'm not a fan of the middle aged man in lycra look, at all.Enter - these cycling shorts, they fit all of my criteria so I gave them a go. They're of a satisfactory quality for the price and are doing the job so far, I'm an infrequent cyclist at the moment. They look good, l have the green and black colours, and have enough pockets for me.I say satisfactory for the price because they were not expensive, but I fully expect to be replacing these before too long. The edging around the pockets is starting to come loose, this wont stop me using them for their intended purpose of course, but as that comes away they'll start to look a little grotty. The stitching in areas looks a little sub-standard but no problems yet so I may be doing them an injustice - time will tell.With my experience so far, I would but these again.

I wasn’t to sure about these shorts & that’s only because of the few bad reviews on here.Well I bought them anyway as I was looking for just a cheap pair of shorts to use on my mountain bike, they are a great colour, I went with blue. At the moment I’ve only worn them a couple of times so can’t say how well they are made or how long the zips will last, I will up date this review after around 6 months.At the moment all the zips open & close nicely, the material feels nice, they are light weight & dry out quickly. I’m around a 34 - 35” waist & I went for a size extra large & they fit great, if the size is off a little I think you would get away with it as the waist has some elasticity to it. They are nice & loose fitting on the leg so great for casual mtb riding.At the minute these shorts are great, if they start to fall to bits I’ll add to this review & drop stars.But so far so good for the price paid.

Very lightweight and stretchy fabric so they are cool and breathable. The closure / buckle is flimsy and, although it hasn't failed, the "fixed" part of the buckle spins on its rivet and has loosened off making it fiddly to close. These had been worn around 30/40 times and and the fly zip failed, so the quality of fittings seems to be an issue. I would have expected something more durable for the price, to be honest.

Had these for some years and have really liked them. Lightweight and look great. many pockets for al your hiking needs. Only thing to be careful with is having heavy wallets or phones in a pocket as stitching is not really built for this and can tear which happened along a seam. Did a little man stitching to fix.

What a surprise! Never bought any clothing from Amazon before. Looking at reviews of these shorts. Thought they were only £16.50. Worth a try. It wasn't disappointing at all.It seems good quality. Stretchy material. Quite breathable. Being shorts kind of helps to breathe better naturally anyway. A lot of pockets at the front. 2 jeans like pockets and then another 4 zipped pockets. On the back there's another one. Not sure what I can fill 7 pockets with. Pretty heavy if they were all filled. You can almost do away with a backpack. There are 2 loops for belt, more like decoration as there isn't one loop at the back but the waist is already partially elasticated at the back and partially with 2 velcros to adjust.Good length and fit. All in all, pretty good value and good pair of shorts for biking.

These are like my fourth or fifth pair of cycling shorts. I didn't realise, when I ordered these, that they are unpadded. This is not really a problem for what I use them for (commuting) but I'm glad I didn't buy them for mountain biking.They are made from a very thin, stretchy material: not the usual, thicker, crinkly material that baggy cycling shorts are normally made from. The stretch on this material is surprising: I imagine they give plenty of leeway on fit but there are two velcro adjusters along the waistband too. As such, they are much quieter when riding. Between the crotch is a different, softer material, which I hope has been chosen for its durability: time will tell. The shorts are fastened with a metal hook and loop: there is no additional velcro or anything but, so far, this has held well.The main pockets are well designed: they are vertical rather than diagnal so it's unlikely anything will fall out when riding. These particular pockets are unzipped, which I am grateful for as I hate fiddling trying to zip a pocket when riding, worried, worried my keys will fall out. There are several other zipped pockets too which I have not used.So far I'm very happy with these shorts. The look pretty good as they're not too baggy and, at £15, the price is good. (I will update this review in a few months to report any issues I have found.)Edit: July 2016 and still going strong.

J’ai acheté cette paire de short pour mes trajets à vélo à mon travail. Ils sont très confortable et léger. Nombre de poches est très pratique pour ranger mon gsm et autres documents. Il y a assez de place pour mes clés mais je ne suis pas sûr que le tissu est assez fort sur la durée. Sinon très satisfait de mon achat.

Die Hose sitzt perfekt. Ist schon die zweite Hose die ich bestellt habe. Sehr praktikabel. Ich bin 1,89 groß und hab 90 Kilo hab mich für die XL entschieden.

Acquistato taglia L io sono 180 cm per 80 kg. Soprattutto in rapporto al prezzo sono veramente un gran prodotto. Belli e ben fatti, comoda le tasche.Io li uso sopra una salopette con fondello ma il look è veramente molto all mountain. Tutto un altro vedere. La taglia è giusta in base alla tabella e il sistema di velcri a strappo in vita li rende perfettamente stabili e confortevoli. Tessuto elastico e leggerissimo.Li consiglio

Excellent produit confortable jolie solide et tres léger s enfile sans le détaché graceason côté elastane . Poche etange .mes chewing-gum sont passé a la.machine a lavé dedans et son ressortit nickel (l'aspect car j'ai pas osé les manger)

Im a short guy, bought a pair of XL and they fit perfectly. They are very stretchy. Bought them for some light shorts to wear over my protective gear for downhill mountain biking. Great shorts for staying cool! Note: these are NOT padded.Edit: i crashed going 40km into a tree and over a cliff, i rolled roughly the length of 2 school buses down a mountain and the shorts did not rip. My thights are black and blue and covered in scars but the shorts remain fine. Very good shorts would recommend.
