It just won't rotate and is stuck.** A: please twist the pole to "open" direction and then removed the inner tube fully, Then you will see a plastic head on the inner tube, twist it. After that, re-install the inner tube back to the outer tube, the pole will be fine. **Q: What length is this when retracted for packing** A: 25 and a half inchs or 65 cm **Q: Hi if I order can I please select a colour? You need to really tighten the poles, or else they collapse, whilst walking. The anti shock is not as good as a previous pole, that I bought abroad. The handle is very hard and uncomfortable, for me, with bad arthritis in my hands. I have had to make a memory foam cover, for it, which helps a lot. I'm sure it will be ok for most people, but difficult when in constant pain. It arrived promptly, so the retailer is very good. The reason I chose it, instead of a normal walking stick, was because of the anti shock.
