Murdle: The School of Mystery: 50 Seriously Sinister Logic Puzzles

These puzzles are so fun!! It’s like murder mystery meets sudoku! I bought one book for vacation and bought the rest when I got back home.

This is a fun book! If you need are looking for non-digital entertainment, this is a good one.

Super fun puzzle books, perfect for mystery novel lovers of all ages. These clever brainteasing games and puzzles are challenging, without being overly frustrating, and compellingly themed. Great car or travel time spender, and good for anyone who enjoys Sudoku or crosswords to keep their minds sharp. Nice variety of word and number skills need for solving. Makes a fun stocking stuffer, or beach bag addition. A family favorite from pre-teens to grandparents, and puzzles can also be solved collectively as a good conversation starter.

I have all the murdles. I did 1-3 before this one. I suggest starting with this one first because it was fun to see the recurring characters as younger. This one also has a much more cohesive storyline, which added to the fun. And, best of all, the puzzles that are just 3 statements from suspects with no clues at all were murdled, finally. I hated those ones. So, do this first, then 1-3, THEN the Seven Skulls .

I adore these books. I have devoured each of Karber’s books, including the Bordergrams, and search for something similar endlessly. The puzzles in this book are equally loved. However, the quality of this printing has made it incredibly difficult to enjoy the experience. The pages are not cut evenly and make flipping back and forth almost painful. I love the addition of the flaps, but would much rather have even pages to flip between the exhibits, hints, puzzles, and answers. I am approximately 1/4 through the book and have put the book down several times due to frustration. I can absolutely figure out a work around, but it’s not the same experience. This should never have been accepted from the printers. Still a huge fan of Karber and will anticipate what he brings to the table.

Favorite Murdle book. It’s telling a story as you work through it. So many different puzzles to solve.

Murdle has quickly become my newest obsession. I love an offbeat experience, and add in a story line coupled with logic puzzles. A+ entertainment. Everyone is sick of me talking about this. I have ripped through multiple of these books and I am impatiently waiting for more to come out. Put down the crosswords, pick up the Murdles. Make your family run away when they see you coming with your mechanical pencil and current Murdle book.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my puzzle-loving sister. She just texted me this: "You have given me the best book ever. I f***ing LOVE MURDLE. " Needless to say, I highly recommend it ^^

Really fun and funny deductive logic puzzles, give it a try, its worth it!

My kids are obsessed with these Murdle books and have been flying right through them. Although this one is marked as adult, my kids ages 9-10 have been able to solve most of the mysteries on their own without my help. I love that they are short little mysteries so even with a little bit of spare time, they can work on one.

I bought this for my teen but I enjoy doing this more than he does. Good puzzles for journeys if you prefer not to read or use your phone.

Bought the first of these as a gift for my son but once my granddaughter (12) took a look, she was hooked. I suggested she complete the puzzles in pencil so that my son might try them too. Bought another one recently as well as the junior edition. Fantastic gift - highly recommended.
