CHANCS 50KTYZ AC 110V 10/12RPM Synchronous Electric Motor 6W Gear Motor Low Noise Slow Speed Reducer Motor for Barbecue Motor

I got this motor as a warehouse deal (I think a return?) from the seller and it did not have the capacitor as it was supposed to, Amazon was no help at all as Amazon likes to pigeonhole you with AI prompts to solve issues so I had to go to the manufactures website to contact them. I sent a email about the missing capacitor and got a warm response immediately from Lily who just asked for my address which I then provided, and Lily said ok its shipped and that was that good old fashioned customer service you don't really get theses days. I am not even sure if it was Chancs fault that the capacitor was missing all I know was it was missing and they took care of it, I really miss old fashioned customer service I wish amazon was a little more fluent and less robotic with its problem solving as not every problem is a return but I get why they do it.The motor itself is amazing and the variety of motors they offer is also great! I wanted a synchronous motor for a project that called for a low rpm dc motor and synchronous motor was more appealing to me as I could just plug it into the normal 120v BUT most synchronous motors switch directions with a load as sort of a clutch, or they switch if you turn it on or off to fast this was not acceptable for the project I was working on. That's when I found Chancs and I am glad I did this motor is very powerful and well built and the included capacitor lets you choose when and how you want it to switch to CCW or CW, and as I said earlier they have a wide variety of motors I will check with them first when i need a motor for future projects. The motor is installed and working perfectly for my project!

Wired correct but not working the way it should. It bounces when you first turn it on then works normal for 5 secs and starts bouncing again.

I bought this CHANCS 50KTYZ AC 110V 10-12 RPM Synchronous electric motor 6W to fix our Dimplex brand Electric Fireplace flicker motor (Part#2000500100RP 10-RPM CW rotation motor)*** It did the trick! Working nice & quiet. Easy to adapt with 2 new screw holes on original mounting bracket. Thanks! 😊
