Dont buy these!
These do not melt down. My child had a bowel movement hours later and passed this suppository solid still in tact. Didnt even remotely break down. I basically inserted a piece of plastic in him. Thank goodness it came back out.

Smaller than standard size, works ok but not all the time
I didn't realize these were for kids and now the smaller size makes sense: for an adult, these aren't as effective because they are not standard size but for a child, these are ok although not completely dependable. It really depends on your child and how constipate they are and/or how far along their waste is in the GI tract. But they are simple and not harsh and have no ingredients to scare a parent besides simply glycerin (and sodium stearate).

Not a reliable manufacturer. Product made in India, sold in Canada through Amazon. Not eligilble for returns. No indication when buying item it was manufactured in India. Watch documentary on medications made in India by Mariana Van Zeller before taking this medicine. Use at your own risk.
