Ever since witnessing a massive 7 vehicle pile-up while on the road on I-40 in Tennessee, I have dash cameras in ALL of my vehicles. Trouble is, dash cams don't come with a hardwire kit like this which means you lose the recording from impacts while parked plus you wind up with wiring that's an eyesore as well as very much "in the way"!This kit has simple to understand instructions. If you can read, you have the ability to learn which fuses have power with the key off and which fuses only have power with the vehicle running, you can install this yourself in about an hour. It's THAT EASY!The quality is excellent, the unit is small enough to easily conceal either inside of your fuse box or behind the bottom of your dash. The one thing they ought to include would be either double sided tape or a few zip ties so you can secure this but both of those items are inexpensive and easy to acquire.I installed one of these in 3 of my vehicles so far and there is NOTHING visible except for the cameras mounted to the windshield and the back windows. Once you determine which circuits (fuses) you need to tap into, run the wiring where it needs to go, use some cheap, easy to use plastic interior panel tools to carefully pop off the trim from your "A" pillars (the pillars of your vehicle alongside of the windshield) and then carefully tuck the wiring up under the front of your headliner to where your camera is attached to the windshield, secure the wiring, reinstall the A pillar trim and plug your camera in. You're done!I recommend EVERYONE buy a good quality dash cam, even better if you go with one that also records out of the back window. Today there are more and more MORONS who aren't watching the road, they're texting and driving, they're driving like idiots! Protect yourself! Buy the biggest memory card your camera will accept, buy a hard wire kit and install it or have it installed and you're good to go!I know I will never have a vehicle without a dash cam again, and I'll always hard wire them in with this hardwire kit.

Used this to hardwire the wife’s dash cam and had no issues. If you’re handy, as most wives expect you to be, you should be able to get this installed and tucked away to make it look “invisible” In right about 30 mins. It’s easy to use and straightforward to install, what else do you need from an item like this? Stop using the 12v outlet and hardwire your dash cam with this kit.

fit great on my Anker dash cam. easy to use and install. I think it works on all cars and go directly to fuse box and camera on all the time with very little power draw.

This product helped me install my dash camera. So from a person that does not know much about vehicles and had a hard time this helped out.

My dashcam power cable recently stopped working, and after looking at the options, I decided on this one not only for the usb slots (which was a plus) but because it matched the power output of my previous cable. After trying to use it, though, the product listing is definitely wrong. My dashcam uses separate front and back cameras, and the front camera works fine on its own, but if I try to plug in the back too, it goes into an endless cycle of restarting the camera. It is very disappointing that I can’t use this when it should work. I didn’t even get the chance to use the usb slots since it couldnt handle the regular power output.

This cable is a great value for the price, easy to install and has not affected my car's battery life. I would highly recommend if you wanted to hardwire your vehicle dashcam or anything that requires a USB C connection for always on capability. Build quality seems to be better than average. Been using for about 4 months now with no issues.

Connected my new dash cam with this kit. It fit my 2025 Sorento nicely. Might not work on a bigger car or truck, measure how much length you need before ordering.
