Great toothbrush with excellent customer service!
This was the first electric toothbrush I've owned and I've been really happy with it. It looks cool, it's comfortable, it works well, and it leaves your teeth feeling really clean. The battery lasts quite a while between charges. The longest I've gone without charging it was 8 days and it was still going strong. After three years and two months the wiggly bit went all floppy. I can hear something inside of it is loose when I shake it a little. Given the price, I was a little disappointed that it didn't last longer. I called customer support and they agreed to replace it once even though it was out of warranty. As long as the second one lasts just as long, I will feel like I've gotten my money's worth out of it and this thing will retain it's 5-star review from me. As for now, I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

I Always get super feedback at dental cleanings
Great toothbrush that always provides super feedback at dental cleanings. I will change my stars if this one doesn't last like my last exact model that only lasted a year. Kind of expensive for it to just last a year. Fingers crossed this one will outcast it.

High quality toothbrush
An amazing toothbrush. Please utilize the app. It really does help and makes a difference in the way you brush. Also, it does last a pretty long time on a single full charge. I charge it about once a month on an everyday usage basis.

Worth the money. Some user tips.
I’m giving this a 5 because of how clean & effective this brush is. Combined with my water pik after first use my teeth were noticeable cleaner & felt better. I do have advice on a couple of things that I had to learn the hard way. ✨It comes with a charge but does need to fully charge. The glass charging set up comes with a cap that you may think needs to be attached to charge but it doesn’t. You will know your brush is charging when the stand lights up. Tooth brush leans does not stand straight up. ✨Sometimes when you open up the app & turn your brush on the app doesn’t connect. It will inform you to place it on the charger to reset basically then take it off to turn on your brush. If you are like me & for some reason have no outlets in your bathroom I found a trick of switching modes of cleaning. The brush picks the mode of the tooth brush head you have on but you can switch modes. Switch modes until your back on your tooth brush mode you want & the app registers starting your time. ✨When using the app it outlines each section you are working on. If you’re section you are cleaning isn’t highlighted it won’t register you cleaned that part & will tell you to focus on it more. However I learned that the app only registers & highlights the section if your brush head is being used on properly on the right the spot. Move the brush head higher up if you’re too low aka brushing more gums then teeth. All & all this brush was worth the money!

Amazing warranty experience
Awesome customer service. My toothbrush stopped working after like a year and a half. I reached out to Philips, provided proof, and got my replacement in less than 7 days. Amazing experience and will definitely buy another Philips product. In general, the product is very good. No dental issues so far!

Mechanical Failure After Months
The mechanism that transmits vibration to the brush head fails. The brush head rattles but does not vibrate effectively, making this no better than regular old toothbrush that costs $330. This is my second of this model. The first one lasted 3 years. The second lasted 3 months. I used Perplexity AI to search for customer complaints. Here it is: Common concerns reported by owners of the HX9954 model include moisture infiltration and seal deterioration, which can allow water to reach the internal electronics and battery contacts over time. This water exposure may lead to issues such as corrosion on the circuit board, lower-than-expected battery voltage, or complete device failure if not addressed promptly. Some users have also experienced a loose screw within the handle’s oscillator mechanism, causing excessive noise or vibrations until the screw is tightened again. Aside from these mechanical problems, some have noted battery-related issues, such as limited charging capacity or sudden drops in voltage, which can result from moisture reaching key components or from impacts that break solder connections on the battery terminals. If problems arise during the warranty period, replacement handles or upgraded models are sometimes offered, but customers have reported inconsistent experiences with manufacturer support or lengthy claims processes.

Premium look, regular feel
I can’t deny that this thing looks good. I got the blue with the gold and it looks premium. But does it perform and feel like a $300+ toothbrush? No. The pressure sensor makes sense but it is so annoying. It’s not so much the tone it gives off or the light, the flex that the brush has until it hits the pressure sensor causes a vibration at the base that makes the brush sound so cheap! I think for the price this brush should have had a metal handle. Even Phillips own Norelco shavers have metal on their higher end units and most aren’t anywhere near $300. Also, despite the matte finish this thing is more slippery than expected so some silicone would have been nice as well. I know I know it was only $300 what am I complaining about right? The brush head case to showcase your brush heads is cool but why? So I can flex to the rest of the fam that I have an assortment of brush heads depending on if my gums or tartar are in need of some care? The tongue cleaner head is actually very effective but I can’t seem to find them in black? What the heck. And the brush will keep track of that usage as well and it will let you know when it is supposedly worn out. You might be wondering: does the brush handle know the life of each brush head I use even if it is another of the same? Like if your spouse wants to use your handle with their brush head will it know the difference? YEP! It knows. How does the app work with knowing your brush pattern? It pairs up Bluetooth and the brush senses when it is on and what side/angle you are holding it but that’s all. It doesn’t watch you or anything. Will you use this feature much? The first week maybe. Overall I am happy I got this toothbrush. It has all the features you want including ones I don’t need.

Considered this over prestige 9900 for two reasons
I opt for this brush for mainly two reasons that lack in prestige 9900 1 - Very good brush head holder. You can’t find this holder separately or even with any other Sonicare models. It looks very cool. This holder should have been included with 9900 or at least sold separately. But nowhere to be found and no other brush head holder comes closer to this. 2 - prestige also lacks tongue mode and tongue genuine brush head are almost impossible to find. Not sure why Philips discontinuing tongue mode. Philips Sonicare app is still mediocre. It can’t store more than one brush handle. I have two brush handles in different bathrooms and I have to keep reconnecting each. You can only connect one brush handle at a time. No way to export the dental diary data. If you are not careful then you can loose all the history. I love that prestige 9900 is way smaller and comes with a bit better looking case than this but that is small trade off compared to other stuff I got with this one. Once you learn how to brush then you don’t need their app’s guidance and tips. But brush heads storage case was the primary reason to get this. You can get newer model any time but you can never get this type of brush head storage case if they stop producing it or it goes out of stock. Nobody can predict the future anyway. One thing I really don't like about top of the line Sonicare toothbrushes are their chargers. Every freaking model is incompatible with another charger. This is ridiculous. I have 9000, 9750 and other similar type of brush heads that our family use that came with glass charger, and we have to put 4 different chargers plugged in all the time somewhere. In the past until few years ago, that was not the case. One white basic charger can charge all your models but with the introduction of glass chargers, things have gone bad and I just can't believe why Philips would do this type of idiocracy.

Love it
I’ve been using this toothbrush for about two years, no complains! I like the travel box that I can easily bring it with me, and leave it in the luggage cuz the toothbrush actually last about a week(or even more, didn’t actually try the limit but it’s pretty long).

Funcionalidad
Es un equipo que cumple perfectamente con la finalidad para la que fue diseñado. El problema es que su precio es excesivo.
