Love it!
Did a ton of research and watched everything on YT before making purchase. I knew I was likely getting a pretty great guitar at a good price (with a small but possible chance of getting a broken one)... Turns out I made a really good choice. If it keeps working well for a few years it will be a great choice! It came well packaged with everything. Physically it is in perfect condition. I did have to tune it. Took a few minutes to figure out the app but all good there too. Only minor feedback I could give to the folks at enya is that I purchased the "ocean blue" and the fade on the guitar body is not well done. It's not horrible, but it's not nearly as well done as the picture shows. I noticed the same thing when watching YT - some of the "ocean blue's" were well painted closer to the nice fade seen in the publicity images however some were like mine - MUCH heavier on the full deep blue. I'm going on a hunch here but the ones they sent out for promo reviews might have received a tiny bit more attention To explain: In the photos (and in some videos) the full deep blue stops around the bridge and slowly blends over a few inches from deep blue into white in a nice straight even way ending just after the first pickup. What I received (and saw others had) was one painted full deep blue up into the first pickup and also ENDING the fade into white before the end of the pickup.... All of a whole approximate 1" band wide fade! A whole inch of actual visible blue. It almost looks like I have a black and white guitar with a narrow blue band. Probably would have been closer to name this paint job "mariana trench blue", lol. What makes it more noticeable is that it's painted in a curve and unevenly blended way across the face . I'm not exaggerating when I say it looks like something I could do with a spray can of white paint against a piece of dark blue poster board by arcing my arm back and forth pretending to airbrush. Oddly, the headstock fade looks great (evenness and straightness). Okay, sorry for the lengthy feedback. It actually looks really great still - even though it's not quite what the marketing photos and sponsored video reviews might have you hoping for so be wary if the look being like the pictures is important to you. A perfect paintjob isn't a must for me. I'm not performing with it. That leads into... I bought it with the intent to use it for learning, practicing and even some song writing. It's perfect for it. Even taking places and playing out and about and not having to have any other equipment or being concerned about temperature / humidity (yay carbon fiber). I wouldn't leave it in a fiery hot car but non extremes wouldn't have any impact. But camping, BBQ's, picnics. It would be perfect. TLDR: I love this thing, It feels great. Plays great/easy. Everything is working well so far. It sounds really good. I'm overall very satisfied and very happy with this purchase. This is an EXCELLENT guitar for an incredible value. I wouldn't be performing with it - i.e. they introduced a pedal as a feature for the new slightly more expensive "Inspire" model to allow switching to (some) effects directly. The "Go Sonic" does not have this pedal available. You are stuck using the button on the guitar going sequentially through them. Would love to see that offered as an optional add on for this guitar too. This guitar so far seems like one of those rare things that come along that's a lot better than anyone would expect. It's built great quality wise. Made of carbon fiber. Feels good. Easy to play. Sounds great. Well designed. Full of awesome features like a zero fret. And if this guitar is intended for a beginner - wow! It's perfect for any beginner who is serious. It would be like getting a new sports car for driver's training! lol Hope this is helpful to someone!

These guitars blew my mind!
I bought two versions of this. I bought myself the JT signature model. I decided to get that model because I liked the fact that it had pick up covers. I liked the pick ups that it had in it better I liked that it had the face switching push pole knob and that it was also compatible with their wireless pedal. My wife and I have both been professional musicians most of our lives. We both predominantly play Gibsons. The thing that interested us, and these was the fact that you can toss them in your car and not worry about the heat getting to them or the cold. I’d seen other players compare these with Gibsons, but I didn’t really take it too seriously. Enya Sonic JT review: I’m shocked at how well it holds tune and how low the action is. The built-in effects sound great in the app is really easy to modify them with. I had no problems with the app. I don’t understand why it doesn’t have a better review on the App Store, but it works great and has way more features than what I’d even realized. The tone of the guitar is compressed, but in a good way, I was actually shocked how clear it sounded when recording with it. He’s really aren’t your standard pick ups. It’s very easy to pick out the individual notes. It’s got a very clear crisp sound to it. The tone switch adds depth, but not muddiness to the Guitar. It’s much lighter than my Gibsons and I love the shape and feel of the neck. It feels very smooth to play. The volume of the built-in speaker is more than adequate to be able to practice and sing-along. The aesthetic of the Guitar in person is very much like if APPLE came up with an iPhone Guitar. It’s very sleek and luxurious looking. It has a different feel to it and more residence than any Guitar I’ve ever played actually, which really surprised me. The tuning stability. It’s kind of mind blowing. I guess. I never really noticed how much I had to tune my guitars until I had one that I virtually never have to tune. I play a lot of different genres as a studio musician. Everything from pop to blues to metal in this Guitar is more than capable of doing it. It works great for studio use and practice, but I wouldn’t really recommend it for stage use. The reason being is that the mixture of the insane amount of residence that the Guitar has and the pick ups can kind of cause a feedback if you’re moving into distortion. It works great for clean live. The quality of the build and everything is so good that I’ve actually thought about getting another one just to tear the electronics out of so I could put some pick ups that are a little more distortion friendly into just to see what happens. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend this Guitar. The white Enya Sonic review: I bought this one for my wife. I can’t really tell the volume difference between the 10 W on this one and the 15 W amp on the JT model. Play ability feels the same. It also has the push pole knob, which I believe change his phase for the pick ups as well. It doesn’t have a tone knob and the pre-loaded effects don’t sound as fancy as the JT model. The color of white that it is is beautiful though it’s very ever so slightly sparkly. Again, I would highly recommend this Guitar to anyone, and so would she. Both guitars are very comparable and feel except the next fuel a little different. The white one feels a little more like a standard shape whereas the JT model has more of a V shaped neck by the head stock, but both of the necks are very slim and comfortable. We love them because it’s so easy just to flip them on and play right there without having to hook anything up. it’s great to be able to leave them in the car and not worry about the neck warping. I guess the only thing left now to do is to get sponsored by these cats. Lol Cheers!

Amazingly amazing.
This Guitar is pretty amazing. It's a guitar, Its an amp, It's effects, and you can use the BT for back tracks. Also you can plug it into amp. It all works well. And sounds good. As far as the guitar itself, It plays great and stays in tune. It's well balanced. And seems very durable. Well it's carbon fiber. But wait there's more. Great price. It would be a good guitar for beginners. Easy to carry around. Kind of an all and one thing. I'm in the category of dinosaur guitar players. I know a good guitar when I see it. I would definitely recommend it!!!

The future of guitars—absolutely mind-blowing value!
I’ve owned a few guitars over the years, but the Enya Nova Go Sonic is easily the most innovative piece of gear in my collection. Being made of carbon fiber, it feels incredibly sturdy yet lightweight, and I never have to worry about humidity or temperature warping the neck. It stays in tune perfectly, no matter where I take it. The integrated speaker and smart features are the real game-changers here. Being able to toggle through high-quality built-in effects (delay, reverb, distortion) without plugging into an amp or pedals is incredibly liberating for practicing on the couch or traveling. The clean tones are surprisingly crisp, and the high-gain presets have some serious bite. The playability is top-notch right out of the box. The neck profile is slim and fast, and the zero-fret design makes the action feel consistent across the entire fretboard. Plus, the fact that it doubles as a Bluetooth speaker and has a headphone jack for silent practice makes it the ultimate all-in-one tool for modern players. If you’re looking for a guitar that’s durable, portable, and packed with tech that actually sounds good, this is it. Enya has really raised the bar for what a "smart" guitar can be!

I think the best part of this guitar is it's versatility. Can serve many applications...I
I really did not think I would like or keep this guitar, being that I am a collector with more then 60 guitars and work on them for others as well for more then 50 years. I was pleased to be wrong. This is not just a one trick pony. As a guitar with no amp engagement, it is loud enough to play that way alone, but you can plug it in, just like most electric guitars and it plays & sounds good. The on board amp and it's effects add to the sound, if desired while by it self or plugged into an external guitar amp or PA. Being a carbon fiber resin, body & neck, it should hold up well to temp & humidity changes well. I write this review after having it for a month, knowing I could send it back if it did not work out for me. Needless to say I will be keeping it and can recommend it to others. I like how light it is and the finish on the neck never gets sticky. the V shape near the nut changes to a C shape going up the neck, which is great. The rounded fret ends are perfect. I got the black version and it never shows any finger prints. The app is good, but not perfect. you can make your own sounds and it will retain them, but you can not add them to the library, meaning if you do a factory reset you will loose your work. This could be both good or bad depending on your needs. also don't expect this 10 watt built in amp to perform like an external amp. It is right next to the bridge and if you turn it up you may get feed back. Also, mine sounds good, but does not get perfectly pure clean sounds. again, I think you can not expect this in such a compact guitar at this price point. I play it for others and they don't hear anything wrong with the sound, but I am comparing it to much more expensive guitars with nice external amps around me. I did tighten the truss rod a bit, because I like very low action. I did not need to lower the bridge at all. I even took it to my local open mic and played through thier PA. This guitar is good for beginners as well as working musicians, being easy to play, compact, full scale needs no amp to use. Even has an ear phone jack. I have plugged into my Mac book air, with Garage Band and that worked staight away with no problems. The case is nice too. Now considering two other ENYA guitars. If I was to sell off most of my guitar collection, I would keep this one, because it is so versatile and needs nothing. Handy to have laying around, so you can pick it up any time you get the urge to play something without hooking up an amp/pedal etc...

Amazingly good
I bought this because I have one of Enya's travel guitars, which I love. When I saw an online review of the Go Sonic, I immediately ordered one. As with the online review I saw (where the reviewer favorably compared the Go Sonic with his $6,500 guitar), I was amazed that such a great guitar could be purchased for so little money. I expected it to be more expensive because of the tariff situation, but it was just a little over $300. This is what Enya did right with this guitar: * The build quality and attention to detail is better that what you'll find in new Gibsons. There were zero flaws. * The playability is wonderful and easily adjustable. The truss rod is easily accessed and really helps here with action control. I could get this guitar to play exactly as I wanted without having to touch the nut. * It sounds great. (I could write a lot more about this, but, in the interest of brevity, will leave it at "sounds great.) * The fact that it has a built-in speaker that sounds good makes this a wonderful practice guitar (see next item), but the guitar is good enough to gig with. If I ever had to play at a venue with flying beer bottles, the Go Sonic is the guitar I'd take. * The carbon build, for me, carries two huge advantages: 1. I can leave it out permanently and, if my animals knock it over, it is far more resistant to damage than a wood guitar would be, and 2. I can leave it out and it won't be negatively affected by temperature and humidity changes. In fact, it never goes out of tune. The upshot is this: This is my "always out" guitar because I'm secure that nothing bad will happen to it. However, if I was wrong about that and a meteor hit it or something, I'm only out about $300. * The onboard electronics are great, especially if you like a little crunch. (Having said that, the clean tone is good, too, although in onboard speaker struggles to get it loud enough). * It looks cool. The only "con" I can think of: I wish it had a physical tone knob. I don't understand how such a great instrument can be offered at such a low price. It can't just be the lower labor costs in China. I think it's more likely that this is due to some very smart people at Enya making very good decisions.

Not happy.
The volume on the built in speaker really low at full volume. The tones on the app are terrible. I spent a lot of time trying to adjust the tone to no avail. I had a pair of over ear head phones but they didn’t work with the guitar. Not sure if that was due to the headphones though. I used an external amp and it was closer to the tone I’m used to, but that defeats the purpose of this type of guitar. I wanted to buy the guitar to be able practice quieter. I do not recommend this guitar even for beginners. It’s just another gimmick. I’m not happy with my purchase at all.

Good right out of the box...just pick it up and play
This guitar had the best setup out of the box I've played on any guitar under $1000. Not joking! The action was low, the intonation was nearly perfect, the frets were polished out of the box, the truss rod didn't need adjusting, and the frets have those cute little rounded ends. Since it's composite, the neck doesn't move at all with temperature changes. It stays in tune better than any wooden guitar. I can pick it up after a week and it's still in tune. It's great because you don't have to connect it to anything or have anything with you. You can leave it anywhere, pick it up and play it anywhere, and if it's late you can plug headphones right in and it sounds great. It's not a heavy guitar, and the body is softly contoured and comfortable to play. The gig bag it comes with is nice too, with plenty of padding and a pocket for the truss adjuster, picks, and cables. It's nice to buy something that doesn't make you buy anything else to use it. My main criticism: WHY DOES IT NOT HAVE A TUNER? It's got all this computerized amp modeling, it would be easy to add a tuner. But they didn't, and since the composite neck is so rigid, clip-on headstock tuners often miss the note and I have to plug it in to tune it. I don't have to do this often, but it's still an annoyance. I would also add coil split to the rear pickup. Finally, the last "purple" preset sucks: it sounds too much like the previous high-gain preset, just with extra mud. I would replace it with something ambient and shoegazy with lots of reverb. Of course you can do this with the app, but it deserves better out of the box. Finally, the fact that you can plug a cord in and use it as a completely normal passive guitar is reassuring. If all the fancy electronics break 15 years from now, I still have a good-playing electric guitar.

Amazing guitar
Just want to say this thing is amazing. My fingers hurt because i cant put it down. Its light and all around feels very good to play. I have a few nice guitars, multi fx pedal and a marshal half stack and find im playing this guitar more then any one of them. I had some string buzz, contacted the manufacturer and they walked me through fixing it. I highly recomend this brand and company. They really do love their product and stand behind it 100%. The speakers sound pretty good. If you get feedback, in the app that pairs to the guitar there is a mixer option that lets u increase or decrease the volume that will fix the feed back. The app itself is pretty straight forward and ive made some pretty good metal tones from it. Only thing i can say about the app is id like more options for cabinets, pedals etc. But for it being a free app. I cant complain at all since i have come up with some pretty cool tones. 1 of my favorite things is you can save tones to the button in certain orders. When i play bucketheads soothsayer i start with a cleanish tone for the start, slap the button to a metal tone and slay the next part in distortion. I 100% prefer it to stomping a foot pedal. You can play backing tracks from spotify thru the speakers and play along with songs. I dont do this often but when i did it was actually a blast. Ive hung mine above my couch. Might have been a mistake because i cant keep my hands off it but it really is the perfect little lay back and jam couch guitar with no cords or mess. Just pick up and play. Almost forgot to mention plugging headphones into this is insane. Sounds sooo good. I got a cheap pair of over ear headphones and am still in shock at just how good it sounds through them. Overall this product is great! I do feel sorry for my poor little fingers as i cant put this guitar down but If you are on the fence about getting 1 of these, i promise it is worth it and more. Even without the fancy gimmicks that sold me on this. If it had no speaker, if it had no built in multi fx and stayed this price. I would still be rocking this thing thru my pedals and amp over my other guitars because it just feels that good.
