I ordered this to repair vinyl lining inside an expensive purse. Vinyl lining and expensive don't necessarily go together, and it is a surprise that this famous brand chose this material. However, I used this as my everyday purse for a very long time and I have never seen them use this type of lining since then. However, instead of relining the purse, I chose to order this repair tape, cut it to cover the upper edge of the lining, and reinforce other places in the interior where pockets attached to the lining. It isn't obvious when opening up the purse. Since the exterior of the purse is still perfect, due to the overall quality, now I can use it again for casual situations. Good product.

I bought this product to repair a hole in the seat of my work truck. It's only been about 2 weeks, but so far it's holding up well. It's seems very durable and the adhesive seems pretty strong. If you're looking for a quick fix that won't break the bank (Like I was), This the best option.

Good so far. Unsurprisingly white on the very edges as would be expected, but cut easily and applied easily. Pretty sticky, but don't know if it would last if you were sliding over the edges often. The best part of it was being the right color: kind of a dark creamy khaki which was hard to find. I've included pictures so you can see the color better for this particular version...

This certainly seals a rip but so does duct tape. This has the added feature of being colored to more closely match the original color. It’s not perfect, it’s not customizable in color. I wouldn’t use it on a surface but the side of a chair was fine.

color is close, did not expect exact match. Easy to cut, easy to apply. It has only been on 2 days but no complaints as of now.

Perfect to repair a peeling chair. It adheres strong and looks very good. Great solution short of buying a new chair. Thanks.

I was going to throw away $1,000 in these leather chairs after our cat scratched the heck out of them (see damaged one on the right). But this leather repair was easy to use and has a little stretch in it so it runs smoothly over curves. One tip I should have done: Cut off the very end of the roll of vinyl because it shows a line of white at the edge, but only on the end of the roll. I will redo it later when I have more time. For now, this will do.

Be clear, this is 3” wide by 61” long. The color matches fabulously. It says leather repair, I expected it would be leather. I believe it’s pho leather or pretend plastic to look like leather. Thankfully the color matched. But it looks like a big patch and is very evident that it is patched. It doesn’t meld into the leather at all I think there must be some light color on the edges. I thought it would blend in better. I’ve never purchased a leather repair kit. I hired someone to detail my car and they slit the front seat with something. Disappointing, but the patch does help the cut from getting bigger and it is same color and it seems to be sticking well. So it’s hard to mark down except to say it is NOT LEATHER.
