These chairs are awesome! They are super easy to fold and unfold, they look great, they are super comfortable. They held me, my kids, my 6’2” husband, no problem. They feel very sturdy and well made. They are not too heavy. They have two cup holders, pockets on the side and the best feature is the built in canopy, so you have your own shade. We’ve bought a lot of cheap chairs over the years, but these are worth the money and I think they will last us a long time.

After seeing many people struggling to setup and break down their chairs at events and stuffing them in a bag for transport - the wife and I were looking for a chair that was much easier to deal with and also have plenty of shade protection at car shows that we attend. We believe we have found the perfect chair! This will be our first chair with a canopy - so we have yet to use it at an event. One thing I’m worrying about is how stable the chair will be when the wind picks up and you are not sitting in it. I would be devastated if the chair would blow into mine or another person's car at a show. There are two holes in the front legs that could be used to fasten to the ground with tent stakes and I may drill two additional holes in the back legs to also attach to the ground. Ideally, it would be best to fold the shade down when you get up, but if you stood up to briefly to talk to someone - this would just be the time for this to happen. Durability issue: After reading other reviews, I was worried about the durability issues where the top was wearing from the poles rubbing the top. When I received the chairs, I looked into why this issue could happen. Since the chairs are made in China the workmanship is always an issue even with a good design, and yes, this was indeed the case! The tops of the poles (3) locations on either side were (sort of) rounded to prevent wear – however they left a burr on the inside of the ends of the poles which will cut into the fabric after continued use. This is easy to detect by rubbing your finger on the end(s) and there should be no sharp edges at all. I used a small file and other tools to remove this sharp edge when the chair was collapsed but not closed up so these edges were accessible. In addition I also added a piece of nylon self stick repair patch tape (4 places 6” long) in the wear area to help prevent any additional issue. You probably do not need this extra step on a new chair – however I typically keep my products for many years and do not abuse them, so I did this for added protection at minimal cost. In addition on one of the chairs I received - the two screws on the feet were loose and needed tightening. We will update this review when the season starts to see how well the chairs hold up. Update: The chair worked great on our first car show of the season and was very comfortable. The canopy kept us completely out of the sun since this canopy is larger than any other brands we observed at the show. There were no clouds and the temp was 90 degrees and we could not feel any radiant heat through the canopy since this has a rigid layer between the top and bottom nylon layers. The wind was not an issue sitting in the chair with the top up, however when we folded the top down - the chair wanted to blow over as the top acted like a sail. We will need to stake it to the ground as mentioned above. This show was on macadam so we did not have that option. We laid the chair down on the back when we got up at this event. On the third car show we staked the chair to the ground due to high wind gusts and the chair did not move even with the top up. However - other participants with standard chairs did blow over at the event. Received several complements on the chairs too. Also there is no marks or wear at the top where the burrs were removed - the fix does work! So far this is the best chair we have owned!

Easy to set up and take down and great shade. Easy to carry and pretty light able to carry both with ease but also can be carried as a backpack style as well. Comfortable to sit in for long periods. Durable and stable. Great color and material seems very strong.

This chair was a great purchase! It's lightweight, easy to set up, and folds down just as quickly—no assembly required. The overhead canopy is perfect for the Florida sun, and I love that it can be lowered behind the chair when I don't need the shade. It was a huge hit at our picnic—so many people asked me where I bought it! I definitely recommend this chair for anyone who enjoys outdoor events.

Very nice well made foldable like a back pack when camping comes with back pack straps comfort for me with a bad back I have to use a pillow it's pretty sturdy froze during the bad weather so I couldn't fold for fear of the clips breaking however if your over 5'9 your head will hit the top especially if your wearing a toboggan it does easily tip luckily I caught myself in time sturdiness is good but don't lean to hard but take in part I'm on soft dirt on concrete it may be different I like the cup holders & side pocket comes in handy as I have been fostering a little stray kitten a bit pricey but quality made no flaws when we unboxed it It was an investment piece & I recommend it

NOTE: This chair is heavier than I expected. I’m a 5’7” female, who has had back surgery and many other procedures on my back. The chair, when it’s rolled into the container, is about 3’ tall, maybe 3’5”. It felt like 30 pounds, but maybe it’s not quite that much. Just keep that in mind. We had a long walk to/from parking to the venue. It’s equivalent to carrying a golf bag that has a full set of irons in it. The chair is super easy to set up and take down. I was totally comfortable, even my train-wreck lower back, sitting in it for 7 hours. The shade was critically important, because we were in full AZ sun. I recommend you also bring two hand towels and 4 binder clips, so you can attach them to the “roof” of the chair, to shade whichever side of you is getting sun. I brought a long-sleeved cotton shirt that I wore over my left arm/shoulder, but some people in front of me had the same chairs with the towel/binder clips and it was a genius solution! You could also use one pillowcase and attach it with binder clips. Watch the video in this listing, so you know how to open and close the chair properly. Overall, I’m thrilled with the chair. Those padded backpack straps really mattered on the walk to/from the venue. I do think this chair would be difficult to transport for people who are 5’4” and under. Double check the measurements and the weight. One thing I really love about it is that the “roof” can be moved down the back of the chair (its original starting position), so once the sun goes down, you can put the shaded roof down. The design of this chair is truly ingenious. It was super comfortable for my lower back. I highly recommend this chair. It seems very well made, well stitched and the nylon fabric seems very durable, it’s not cheap or flimsy. I think it will last a long time! My chair is the dark blue one pictured on the left.

We were looking for a shaded chair that we could use for my daughter's lacrosse games. We ended up choosing this one, and we are very happy with it. Pros: - I love that it folds up so easily, and doesn't need a bag. You simply use the straps on the outside to close it up. I really prefer this over chairs that go into a carrying bag. Those bags tend to rip easily and it's tough to fit a chair into it. - There are backpack straps so you can easily carry this on your back. - I really like the cup holders and the side holder. The side holder is big enough to hold an iPad or notebook. - I like the olive green color. Cons: - It's on the heavier side. It's not too heavy for me, but people that can't lift heavy items may have an issue. Overall, we are very happy with this chair purchase.

Bought this for my partner for her birthday and we recently got to use it at the beach, it was perfect! Easy assembly (if you want to call it that) opens up and closes when you’re done for easy carrying. It’s very durable and held up well in the sand and was super comfortable to relax in. Material is strong not flimsy either. Looking to buy another one for myself!
