Easy to assemble, solid performance
The VEVOR motorcycle & eBike hitch carrier was simple to put together—just 18 bolts, and the instructions were mostly easy to follow. It’s light enough for one person to mount to the trailer hitch without help. I personally did help my partner as it does need wiggling when locking into the hitch slot. I got the 2-bike setup, and loading for the first trip was quick and hassle-free. Includes eight ratchet straps. That made securing the bikes very easy, and everything stayed stable during transport. Overall, it’s a well-designed, convenient carrier that delivers great value. I’d definitely recommend it to a friend. Recommendation for an enhancement would be to implement a folding mechanism so when not in use, the carrier can be flipped up to secure it closer to your vehicle. I worry that when empty it could be hit. Or include reflective decals to place along the back.

Great and no issues previously reported except sharp edges need filing
Great item and they must have improved QA, no issues. I do have one complaint, they need to file down the sharp edges on the carriers that do nor have welding, I cut myself nicely walking around the carrier at night.

Excellent value.
I purchased this after having read some less-than-positive reviews and am glad I did. It was easy enough to assemble and seems well designed. I have already set it up and loaded it with a dual sport and a dirt bike. It all works exactly how I had hoped and is quite stable even with two bikes loaded. Like some of the other reviews have mentioned, the only part of the setup that is aluminum is the tracks for the motorcycles and the ramp. Unlike other reviewers though, I am good with their use of steel. It seems like they reduced weight where they could and focused on strength where it was needed. Also like other reviewers have mentioned, I do think the packaging it ships in is less than stellar. I did have some scratches on some of the steel parts when I got everything unboxed. I had a spray can of nearly identical silver paint though and it touched everything up nicely. Given the price point and the final results with two bikes loaded on the back of my truck, I'm a happy customer.

Great high capacity carrier .
4 stars, this carrier gets high marks for weight capacity. the main shaft is painted steel, but that makes it strong enough to carry 2 small motorcycles. This is well made and a pretty good design but the ramp is a little bit short at only about 3 feet long.. I got around this by using a car ramp to help with the ramp distance. The included stabilizing clamp worked well and even fully loaded the carrier didn't move around at all.

Not strong enough for it’s purpose
Not happy with the product and dont recommend any one to purchase this item . I used the carrier twice and the weldings are broken , and the base were the motorcycle seats on are bent already ( not from hitting anything , just from the truck movement . I got in touch with the brand and they want replace the item but i dont want another one , i rather have my money back but they dont do that since it was done through amazon, and amazon don’t refund after the 30 days from purchase . So if you buying make sure to use and complain before 30 days . Dont recommend , wick product for what is advertised . Cracked after only 2 uses

Really Perfect !
Assembly with use of instructions was easy . Very stable no wobble make sure you use all parts given . Looks very nice . Easy to lift for an ole granny like me .i used all the straps given plus some ratchets I have . I crossed strapped and to the hitch holes for safety .( I strapped the motos together and down.) as not to loose my bikes on the highway .my bikes rode very secure and stable .we really like this rack and the light weight design .

Solid Rack
Great rack that does as it claims. This is an aluminum rack with what seems to be a spine of galvanized steel (not painted or lacquered steel like others). This means a high resistance to rust from cracks, then chips, and finally rust. Other racks don't offer this and bare steel starts to rust almost right away. I returned and was refunded on one of these others before buying this rack. The instructions could be more detailed but aren't to hard to figure out. There is a tag on the rack which states/certifies what it can hold weight wise. My son and I have had two off road motorcycles on this safely self assembled rack: Yamaha YZ450F and a Honda CRF250R with no problems. A strong SUV or pick up is needed for this, a mini van or car won't do (600 lbs max rack.). One thing, it doesn't have tie down loops for straps at the end closest to the hitch receiver so the tie down in this area is done on the rings that should be part of and right next to the receiver. One of the best things about this rack is rust isn't a problem, great if you're looking at this over the longer term rather than a season or two before it has to be tossed. Hope this all helps someone if considering this.

Would NOT try to carry more than 450 lbs with this.
Does what is says, but barely. I bought this to haul two 280 lb bikes, and you can see it struggle. Steel seems "okay, aluminum is hanging on by a thread. The biggest issue with the product I would say is the hardware provided. Several of these bolts snapped on my first trip with this product. I took a a little over an hour drive on strictly highways and state routes. This was mounted on an e350 Econoline, not the softest suspension, but not the hardest. I was utterly shocked to see that ALL the bolts on the left side of the mount plate on both sides snapped. Thankfully I always have a hoard of additional ratchet straps, and I spread out the remaining bolts from the right side. If I didn't travel with a full tool set and additional ratchet straps, I literally dont know what I would have done. I ABSOLUTELY would NOT be driving home with the rack in its previous condition. Since making it home, I have replaced ALL of the nuts and bolts with hardware from Home Depot. Would I buy it again? If I was traveling with some smaller/lighter bikes, probably, but I 10/10 would put my own hardware on it from the start and absolutely bring some extra ratchet straps with me. If you are actually traveling with two 300+/-lb bikes, I would spend more and get a different rig.

Solid, but don't buy if you're not sure
Easy to install and use, pretty solid with one bike, but there quite a bit of movement. We have a SUV, so the rack was getting way too close to the ground , so we chopped it to put only one bike and it's better that way. We would have returned it to buy the one for one bike, but it was $150 of shipping to return it, that Amazon wouldn't have paid. I think it would have been ok with a pick-up truck or a Jeep.
