Zojirushi Steel Food Jar, 25-Ounce, Black/Stainless

I love this little food jar! The Aqua Blue color is vibrant and fun, and it’s the perfect size for packing soups or oatmeal for my kids' lunches. The wide opening makes it easy to fill and clean, and the vacuum insulation keeps food hot for hours. I’ve even used it for cold treats like yogurt and fruit, and it keeps them cool just as well. The compact design fits easily in lunch bags without taking up too much space. Overall, a great product that combines style and functionality.Con: The inside lid is a bit hard to clean.

This jar keeps my soups and stews steaming hot for around 8-10 hours easily even in cold conditions. Its easy to clean, use, maintain, and has always impressed me since I bought it a year ago. I own their thermoses' as well and they are my go to for keeping my coffee hot at work. I've tried others but once I bought Zojirushi I haven't looked back. Fantastic quality

I've been using this jar to do overnight oats for a long time now, but excellent for yogurt or soup as well. The 11.8 oz is the perfect size for one hearty serving for a ~200 lb man. The gasket/lid seal is very well designed. I've had zero leaks no matter what I've done with the jar. There is a steam/pressure relief in the lid, as well as a small storage compartment for dry toppings/ add-ins. The jar and lid is super easy to clean. Immerse in a some soapy water, use a sprayer faucet attachment to flush out the lid; rubber gasket is easy to remove, clean, and replace. I recommend you use silicone or plastic utensils when eating out of this jar though, as they won't scratch the highly polished interior and will preserve the easy cleaning. High Quality product.

EDIT: the review below was written in 2016. After our stupid mistakes, I ordered another one. This one lasted until yesterday (this is the end of Sept 2022) when the gasket came loose and was eaten by the garbage disposal as I drained the sink. D’oh! I have a Thermos jar that’s almost as good as this, and two HydroFlask food jars that pale badly in comparison. If I put food in this when it’s too hot to eat, it’s still going to be too hot to eat five hours later. The Thermos (14oz) will have cooled slightly but not below food safety standards. The HydroFlasks though… eek. I wouldn’t eat anything from them after 3, *maybe* 4 hours. They just can’t keep it hot enough. This jar is amazing. We have the 11.5oz size and find it to be the perfect size when your hot food isn’t the only item in your lunch. (Daughter likes soup now, and this has never leaked, and we’ve never gotten a hole in the release valve again either). You can also pre-chill this (fridge or freezer, or fill it with ice) and use it to keep things cold. Just like with hot food though, the fuller you fill it, the better it performs. Since this size is a bit large for fruit salad or applesauce though, I’m ordering the smaller, 9oz jar now too.——My daughter used this for about a year and a half. No chipping paint (no dishwasher either). She doesn't do soup, but takes pasta, chicken nuggets, peirogies, or leftover Chinese food to school, and says it stays hot (well, the nuggets, since there's more air in the container, are "warm" rather than piping hot, but she doesn't care). I pack her lunch at 7:45, and she eats at 1:00. My ONE complaint -- watch the video that shows you how to release the pressure seal. They say "use a toothpick." My daughter managed to poke a hole THROUGH the rubber, which we discovered the ONE time she took something liquidy to school in this. So, I'm not sure how long it took for the hole to form, but it's there now. And then I decided that I should really try to give the rubber o-ring / gasket thing a good cleaning, and somehow got it twisted up and couldn't get the lid to fit back on the jar. D'oh! So, don't mess with the seal, and don't poke the release valve with a really sharp toothpick, and you'll be fine.

I've used this Jar for food, coffee, and water every day for several years. The quality is as good as new. Very happy with this product.

I've purchased this multiple times; the thermal insulation is excellent. It's great for bringing water or soup to work, and the seal is very secure.

Have several of these Zojirushi food jars and thermos’s from 12 years ago. They are still like new and effective for keeping the hot foods hot. We needed one more for daughter’s school and got this one. Seems a bit pricey but in the long run is great value for the money. SHe loves this color, the lid closure is snug, no leakage and fits perfectly in her school lunch bag.

That's my first review... But I know how hard it is do find a good leak proof food container.. Which also does what it says.. I am so happy and impressed with it... Definitely does what it says... I already have recommended to 2 friends which are looking for one... I am no one to go for big names.. I am someone to go for quality.. Its pereect.. Food is still quite hot when I am going for lunch when I am going for lunch 6 hours later.. Steam is still coming off it.. And I am in love with it... I love my food hot.. And yes.. It certainly still is...

Oatmeal was kept warm for 7 hours. Easy to clean, great quality. Bought for my son who goes to daycare. Bought the classic bento and ms bento as well.

Pricier than typical hot food jars but worth the cost in my opinion. Having tried other food jars, this one is well made and kept food warm all day. It is a good size for an 8 year old's lunch. My son is able to open this jar by himself.

Ürün güzel. Japonlar yapmış ama kendilerine göre yapmış. Çubuklarla yemek yiyen ya da eli küçük -Asyalı- hanımefendiler için ideal, diğer türlü rahatça yemek için bir ekstra kap lazım eli yabavariye yakın olanlara. Özetle ürün iyi arkadaşlar.
