I use this for the first time to make gelato lemon ice. The results are incredible so retro so awesome.

Metal canister too tall to fit in freezer
This ice cream maker is great. Works like it should. I opted for this size because homemade ice cream goes fast and there's never enough to go around. This makes up to 6quarts. However, the canister won't fit in a refrigerators freezer. Way too tall! If you have a deep freezer chest than you'll be fine.
