I bought this for my 76-year-old mother so she would be more comfortable sitting through church services and her granddaughter’s volleyball games, and it has made a noticeable difference for her. She needed something lightweight, portable, and comfortable enough for longer periods of sitting without being difficult to carry around. The cushion is supportive without feeling too firm, and the foldable design makes it easy for her to take with her from place to place. She especially likes that it doesn’t slide around constantly like some cheaper cushions tend to do. I rarely write reviews for products. We attend high school and college football games a LOT in Wisconsin. I don't like carrying the portable seats that my husband uses. And prefer not to take a blanket because of rain that means you are likely sitting and getting soggy. So I found this one and it is perfect. Yesterday in 33 degree temps on a metal bleachers seat for 4 hours was my final test. I love this for many reasons: it is small and folds and fits perfectly in the 12x12 clear bags we take into stadiums. It stays put on the bench. The cold bench does NOT permeate thru the cushion. And you can plop it onto a rainy bleacher and you stay dry. It is thick and truly offers support and comfort for long sits. This gel cushion is my best purchase of the past few months!!!

This worked really well for me during days long car ride. I’m a senior and we drive cross country. I start to get really uncomfortable after a couple of days in the car. I have only tried it locally so far, it was very comfortable. My only complaint, hence less one star, is that it needs to be offered in a larger size—could be linger.. It’s wide enough but I would love it to cover a larger area of the car’s seat. It may be perfect for the smaller airplane seats it is advertised for.

I got this pillow to prevent tailbone pain on a 14-hr flight to Asia. It helped a little bit, but didn’t have the level of impact as a targeted medical pillow. The gel pillow folded and was a portable size although a little heavy, as you’d expect from gel grid material. It was convenient for supporting pressure points and adaptable as a pillow, butt cushion, or back support. I still ended the flight with tailbone pain, but not as bad as prior trips.

This cushion is a lifesaver on long flights. Is is small, so I would only recommend but for a petite person. It is just enough to give relief, but small enough to be portable.

Used one a two hour flight. Comfortable to start, but it flattened out and provided very little comfort. I will be returning it.

We live in Hawaii so when we fly anywhere, it’s going to be a long flight. When we go to Heathrow, it’s generally a whole day with transfers. We try to fly first/Polaris class on international flights. Last month, we needed to get to Sydney and home from Auckland. A family member had gotten us Extra Comfort tickets for $400. We couldn’t turn it down. I tried this seat cushion for the first time and it worked. It’s a bit on the small side but it can be moved around in a number of different ways. I was able to get through 10 hr+ flights without a sore butt. The cushion folds in half and fits neatly in my carry-on back pack. Because the foam is dense, it adds a bit of weight but not much bulk. I didn’t have to hang it on the outside of my pack or carry it in my hand. In summary, I’d rather travel in lie-flat pods but this pad made the flight do-able and that’s exactly what I was asking it to do.
