Comprehensive, research backed, great quality and design
It is a fantastic resource for anyone interested in understanding more about themselves and their relationships. It is research-backed and amazingly comprehensive in its coverage of core human needs. I especially loved the simplicity of the design and illustrations - uncluttered white background with minimal text - suitable for all age-groups. The cards and the box packaging are of reassuringly good quality and there’s a helpful user guide provided offering 9 different ways to play to get you going. I can see their clear potential as tools to help unpack and initiate conversations on topics that can be complex and difficult to broach and understand. I’m looking forward to dipping in and out of this game and using it along with the Feelings and the Qualities games to deepen my self understanding of all my different parts and roles - in personal/ professional and individual/ social contexts.

Creative resource for identifying needs
These cards are well designed and ideal for helping clients identify their needs. I have cards to help clients identify feelings but this is an essential addition to my therapeutic toolbox. A few of the cards had words on them that didn't resonate with me but when you turn the card over, it comes up with other similar words for the need and that was a useful element. I really like the animated characters depicting the various needs. Useful not just for clients but for me too. There are suggestions for how to use the cards in a game format but I prefer to use them in my own way. Highly recommend.

fun and cheerful illustration
As a psychotherapist working with adults and young children (from 4 years old), I have been using these very friendly Needs game cards with a variety of young people and at my good surprise , this allowed to open up very quickly conversations about what was important in their life, helping me to identify further areas of concerns.I have found the use of cards very attractive with children who like usually the playing aspect of it.In general, these cards have a good range of needs allowing all participants to highlight or identify a need that they wouldn't express otherwise. These cards could be used in combination with the feelings game or with the Quality game, which have both their own particular focus on an aspect of an individual.

Great tool to explore needs, great quality.
Those cards are nicely designed. They are nicely presented and with a great format. They can be used to work with groups and individuals to explore needs. The addition of the related needs at the back of each card can help to expand the emotional vocabulary and also to go deeper in the exploration of those needs. The booklet gives some great ideas on how they can be used and adds information about the why of the game. They also work very well with the other pack "The Feelings Game", those two packs complement each other and offer multiple possibilities of exploration. This is a great tool for my work as a psychotherapist.

Excellent
As a psychotherapist, I ordered these cards to add to my tools box. In overall, it is a good tool to use in combination with the Needs game. The feedback from families, individuals and children and young people have been positive as it enabled them to have rich conversations about their emotions, feelings and needs. The cards enabled the shy voices to be heard and families to do the listening in a different way.- with curiosity and less judgment.
