Redragon K686 PRO Wireless RGB Gasket Gaming Keyboard, Dye-Sub Anime Keycap

This keyboard + tape job is absolutely ridiculous. The built quality is incredible. The miller aluminum shell is super sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. The keys feel incredible. The sound leaves a lot to be desired, but I put a couple layers of athletic tape underneath the board, and it sounds incredible. Easily the best keyboard you can get at this price point. If you get this, grab yourself a roll of athletic tape and tape the underside of it. You won't regret it!

Bought this keyboard after many weeks of researching because the last few keyboards I had were wireless and either broke after a few weeks or required batteries all the time. I have been using it everyday for work, not gaming, but it works great! I love it! Just plugged it in and it immediately started working! I especially love the weight of it, and the clicky sound of the keys. It is not a flimsy plastic keyboard, it’s made of metal and seems durable. The lighting is a super cool bonus. One con- it is not Bluetooth wireless. You will need to have it plugged it using the supplied cable for it to work. Not a huge deal, I would def still recommend!

A Total Game-Changer! Excellent Soft Feel and Incredible Lights I have been using the Redragon K686 Pro SE for a while now, and I absolutely love it! This keyboard is a massive step up from anything I’ve used before, and it honestly feels like a premium product without the premium price tag. The overall typing experience is outstanding. You mentioned it feels "soft," and that's the perfect word for it. The switches are incredibly smooth—it’s a creamy, cushioned feel that makes both gaming and long typing sessions an absolute joy. This "soft" feel greatly reduces fatigue and makes the sound very satisfying. But the real star of the show is the lighting. The RGB on this keyboard is phenomenal! • Vibrant and Customizable: The colors are incredibly bright and vibrant, and the multiple light modes mean I can always match the look to my mood or my setup. • A Desk Showpiece: Even after all this time, I still catch myself staring at the beautiful effects. I was looking for a wireless mechanical keyboard to replace typing on a laptop keyboard since it feels more natural. I do like the keyboard layout where the keys are more compact with the handy knob on the upper right corner for quick access to increase and decrease the computer volume. The keyboard is compatible with Windows and Mac and has some handy switches on the left side of the keyboard to easily toggle between wired, bluetooth and wireless 2.4 GHz USB receiver configuration usage. One thing the product description doesn't mention is that this wireless mechanical keyboard is also compatible with Chromebooks which is great to bring for traveling. The keyboard keys are a bit quieter than I expected from a more traditional mechanical keyboard even though I prefer the keys to be a bit louder but that is a compromise that I am willing to accept. The keys do feel comfortable with good build quality and the battery life on the keyboard is amazing. I used the keyboard for 3 days and only lost 1% battery life. The keyboard does have customized software that you can install that allows you to toggle between different keyboard light effects and has a sleep timer setting that is configurable that sets your keyboard to go to sleep after a certain period to save battery life.

I have purchased the Redragon K686 PRO SE, 3-Mode Anime Mechanical Keyboard. I bought this a week after its release, and I have been using this for a few months. I was a little skeptical at first due to the lack of reviews, but this is a great keyboard. I have used a few Redragon products, and this is my favorite so far. The K686 SE PRO is smooth with the soft rounded keys. It is very comfortable to type, and it is crisp with linear switches and feels somewhat sturdy. The keys make a clacky sound which is a little loud but not too loud. The keys are not backlit, which is fine with me. The keyboard functions well, it is responsive and fast. The knob is very useful for controlling volume and muting/unmuting. You can also control the RGB with the FN + Insert keys with multiple options that looks great. The anime theme and design are good, although it does seem to be AI generated. The same design you see on the box, which the box did get a little damaged on the back, but it is mostly Amazon's fault. The anime character, Eisa and the partially seen dragon along with the theme give the keyboard a nice touch. The design does make it a little hard to know which key is which, although it doesn't matter if you know the keyboard layout and can type without looking. The battery life of this keyboard is pretty good; it lasted me a week or two with minimal use and almost 2 days with constant use when I am gaming. The keyboard also has 3 modes to connect to your PC, Wired, Bluetooth, or 2.4G USB Receiver. You can also check the battery with the FN + Delete keys which is very useful when I check the battery life and see if I need to charge it or not. The battery ranged from 1-0 number keys with a green backlit and turns red when battery is low. The keyboard also comes with the cable for charging or connecting to a PC and comes with stickers, manual, Hot-Swap Socket, and 4 extra switches. The left side of the keyboard has switches to either power off the device or connect it to a PC, offering versatile connection options, MacOS or Windows. Also comes with the USB-C port for charging or connecting to your device. The right side has a small socket for the USB receiver where you can take it out or put it in when not in use, which is helpful and makes things easier. Not really a fan of the bloatware to customize the keyboard. The software is a little buggy and had some issues with connectivity. Not a fan how some features may require the software to use but it is simple and easy to use. I do recommend resetting the keyboard to factory settings in case there are issues to be fixed. There are some issues, but this happens rarely; some specific keys may not respond properly. I do have to turn off/on my keyboard or reset it for it to work fine. It is not too big of a deal and is a quick fix but slightly annoying. Overall, this is a great keyboard, with an interesting anime theme. Easy to set up, smooth typing and it's reliable. I definitely recommend this keyboard if you are an anime person and need a reliable keyboard for a decent price.

This Keyboard is honestly so great for the price. The 3 different connection modes are much appreciated. I personally use BT for most of my needs (which is very responsive), but the option to wire in or to use 2.4 gHz for a (slightly) faster response is great! I'm also glad I was able to find a full keyboard that fit my needs as the num-pad is something I didn't want to give up. I enjoy the design, and the different options are great if you aren't into the anime style. The keyboard is suitably heavy, which makes sense as it is mechanical. It also makes good use of the real estate on the board, which means the keyboard is surprisingly more compact than you'd think for a full size keyboard. Definitely fits well on my dest! It's relatively early days for me using it, but I haven't had any reliability issues and it feels sturdy! I could take or leave the RGB lighting, especially for this particular design, as the keyboard is already stylized. That being said, the lights aren't too bright so there's no distraction, but they're still noticable. This is a great keyboard for anyone looking to get into the mechanical keyboard space without going crazy on the budget. Personally, when I switched I was skeptical, but the change from membrane to mechanical is palpable and I'll never go back now.

I love this keyboard for daily use at work. I especially appreciate the option of bluetooth, usb wireless connection, or wired. And the battery life is amazing! The key click sound and feel is exactly what I was looking for and the overall appearance is great. As for the customer service, I couldn't be happier. My order was missing the usb piece for wireless connection, but other than that the keyboard worked fine. I reached out to Redragon and they sent me an entire new keyboard with no questions asked and no return! That combined with the pricing already being so low, I would recommend Redragon to everybody I know.

So I replaced another Redragon (Rd in the future) keyboard that I had bought earlier this week it was the RD K673 pro 75%. I love this keyboard a lot better it was overall $10 cheaper. So far to this keyboard, I like the color scheme a little bit better even though I don't like white I can always paint this one if I wanted to but I like the blue feel a little bit the control knob for the volume I like a little bit better it's a little bit smaller and I like having the number pad back. I also like the side of this keyboard I can set it to Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz mode I can set it to Maca Windows and it does use USB-C for charging. Originally I had thought this company RD was a cheap brand but so far their products which I have one of their mice are pretty good and I'm going to copy paste this review because I'm going to review the mouse at the same time I'm going to take this review and put it over there for the mouse as well because their mouse is great I have the m810 pro wireless and it is an amazing mouse I love it it can go into Eco mode or I can go into full mode The only thing I don't like about it is it's a little bit light for me I'm used to a heavier mouse like the Logitech g502 I have it full weighted out and I like that but I didn't want to spend the money on the wireless version of it. So I'm giving both of these products both the RD EISA K686 Pro keyboard and the RD M810 pro wireless gaming mouse both 5 out of 5 stars. NINJA Edit because I kept thinking this entire time. UP UNTIL 1752hrs on 01/29/25 as I sitting in bed recovering from a concussion and still am to this day of the edit! (01/30/25) I thought the brand was called RED DRAGON NOT REDRAGON... I feel so dumb. I am sorry, this company is amazing and I am loving their products so far. I am just a dumb bunny after all. Just ask my partner, and he will tell you.

Garbage... light system became defective after a few months of lite use. Flashing all the time, partial lighting, unable to see anything without light. Red Dragon doesn't provide the software directly: you have to download from a third party provider. Complicated and ineffective.

Excellent value for the price, switches are a thocky, and silky smooth (linear). Havent tried the wireless portion yet but wired it works great. Keycaps are also great!

I've had several keyboards from this brand and they've all been excellent, so I had high hopes for this one - and it absolutely delivers. The purple colour scheme and lighting are gorgeous, bright without being harsh. The aluminium base gives it a really solid, premium feel, and the typing experience is spot-on. The linear switches feel smooth and responsive, and the whole board has that satisfying, well-engineered quality Redragon always nails. The tri-mode connectivity is handy - I've used wired and wireless already and both feel stable - and the 98-key layout is compact without losing any functionality. The control knob is a nice bonus too, making volume and brightness adjustments super quick. For the build quality, lighting, and overall feel, I think it's fantastic value. Another great keyboard from a brand that keeps impressing me.

I love this Keyboard. High quality transparent keys. key clicks are quiet and gasket really helps reduce impact forces on my finger joints. Configuration software works great and easy to use. Did not test wireless features as I installed mine USB direct connect.
