This waffle maker works great and it make nice waffles i enjoy using it

It makes nice waffles, but doesn't seem to brown them as fast as we thought it would. It took a bit with sandwiches too. I thought about sending it back but decided we'd just deal with it.

Looks nice but doesn't really get hot or maintain temperature long enough to cook the food. Bought this for my husband for Christmas and was very disappointed. Tried the sandwich press and it took forever to toast the bread and melt the ham and cheese sandwich. We then tried to make waffles. The waffle iron does not get hot long enough to crisp up the waffles. Placed the bater in and waited until the light turned green but the waffle was barely cooked. We left the waffle in the cooker, but the heating elements turned off letting the cooker cool. When the green light turned off then the cooker heated up again. It took three rounds of this per waffle to get a light brown colored soggy waffle from the waffle maker. We gave up and made pancakes with the batter. I do not recommend. Wish I could get a refund for this.

I love the versatility of this product. We've made Cubano sandwiches, filled mini-sandwiches, and waffles. All the plates can go through the dishwasher, and the appliance itself is lightweight. It's a great value for what you get. It is simple to remove or change the plates on the machine. For my paleo waffle mix, I've arrived at a 6-minute cooking time for crispiness, but different batter recipes will have different cooking times. To keep your plates non-stick, simply apply a little oil to the entire cooking surface of the plate and then wipe off the excess with a piece of paper towel. If you do this each time before cooking, the non-stick surface will work perfectly. I've only used gluten-free products on this appliance and have had no problem whatsoever with anything sticking.

This is a good 3 in 1 machine. I like the cooking surface plate removal feature so you can clean better and the fact that I can grill or make a panini or a waffle depending on what I'm in the mood for. So far it's been really good.
