Dress was to big but I still love love

First of all, I'm beginning to think a lot of reviews on Amazon are fake. I know I am a snob when it comes to material and I like my designer clothing, but the amount of positive reviews on this article of clothing is kind of surprising to say the least. The dress took over 2 mos. to get to me, which I was not happy about. If you're a petite woman like me, this dress is really big. The material looks good, but it's thin and way too big. I would call this disposable clothing like Forever 21 or H&M clothing. If you get a couple wears out of it then you got a deal. It looks good on, but too big if you're petite. Why did I give it 4 Stars.............the dress looks good on anyone, it is off the shoulder, & you can wear it as a cover-up if anything. I am not a fan of the material, how long it took to get to me. I don't know over hype in my opinion. I didn't want to be mean and give it 3 stars, because it's just a matter of opinion and everyone has different opinions.

I am very happy that I read a lot of reviews before buying this dress. I don't put stock in negative reviews as there are those who are never satisfied, so the best thing I read was about the fit of the dress to help me decide the size I'd choose. So I'm 5'5. 155 pounds, 36DD and a bit chubby in the middle. I got a Medium white with black diagonal stripes. This dress fits perfect off my right shoulder with the stripes going the right/correct way. It's loose fitting and the material is smooth and soft against the skin. It is a little boxy at the bottom hem, so tied two knots on one side at the split. This gives a beautiful look like points to the other side. Slits on both sides is really nice. The sleeve length I chose was 3/4 sleeve, which I like. I will buy this again in another color for 5 and one definitely short sleeve!! This can be worn out on the town, to a picnic, or just as a house dress and you don't mind if anyone drops by! So comfortable with forgiving material! Don't wait for a special occasion!! MUST have comfort and style!

I think the lady in the picture is wearing a 4X or something and she must be 4 foot tall because this dress does not fall off the shoulder like that, fit that loosely or run that long. I am only 5’4” and unless I have the shoulders of an NFL linebacker and I’m not aware of it, then this should have fit somewhat like the photo. They describe the dress as “oversized” but, nah.....it might be oversized for a kindergartener, but not for a grown woman. I sent the medium back and ordered a large which was a little longer and falls off my shoulder with a push. The arm holes (there’s probably a more intelligent sounding word for them) are a bit too big now and if someone wants to, they can catch a peek of my bra and a little side boob. Other than that, the large was a better choice though I usually wear a medium in dresses. Now that I’ve complained like a grouchy old lady, let me say that I do like the dress and I got some looks today. For the sake of my self esteem and confidence I’m gonna say those looks were a result of my looking too dang cute in it and not because I looked like Shrek in a striped dress.

I ordered a medium because that is my normal size. It fits and is comfortable and is a cute summer dress but it definitely does not fit as shown on model in pictures. It’s just kinda boxy and doesn’t hang loose and drapey like on the model. And I don’t think ordering up a size or two would make it look any better. I think a bigger size would just make it look baggy and it would still be boxy not drapy and cute like the model. Size reference, I’m 5’3”, 135lbs, athletic build.

This is definitely not the same dress as the one pictured. Luckily I had read almost all of the reviews before I ordered it so I knew that it wouldn't be. I do like the dress though. The material isn't see through or clingy. Although I love it just loose & big, I'm not sure where I would wear it that way since it's a little swimsuit cover up or mumu. I may change my mind though cause there's a reason mumus are still available - soooo comfy. I think the knot on the side would be cute but I was not able to make it as cute as some of the other people who posted pics as my knot tying abilities are not on point. I did try it with a knot at the bottom & I think it's pretty cute. I am a 51 year old, 5'6", 190+ lb woman so all in all, the dress is doing its part to make the overall effect a cute one. I ordered a large (after ordering both a 2X & an XL & sending them back). I think a medium would also be fine.

Dress came in timely even during COVID times! The dress didn’t smell. It was packaged nicely. Colors are so pretty and vibrant.Now as for fit:it didn’t hang off shoulder as I had hoped or as pictured. I guess try a size up if you want it to hang more. It’s more of a boat neck styled cut. It feels comfortable and in fact I got a size xl and it’s a little loose ( I am 5’1” and wear a size 18/20, I’m hourglass shaped & have a pudgy belly). Still...doesn’t fit like the picture presents. Still a pretty dress, made fair. Material is a smooth silky type. I think it’s a polyester blend. It’s light and airy. You definitely need to wear dark panties and bra because you can see through it. It’s not a tragedy or anything but I could see my skin in my breast area when I tried on. Hope pics help.

Cute dress but sizes do run very large, I ordered x small cause my friend ordered a med that was way too big for her, she gave to my daughter (who's a lil thicker)& it fit her gReAt

It looks like a v-neck long s-shirt, not cowl-neck like the photo, will not hang off the shoulder, has 2 small side slits, not a long thigh-high slit like in the photo, I'm throwing it in the goodwill bin, because I would never wear such an ugly item. This seller posts fraudulent photos.....

I love this dress and wore it to my son's engagement party and got so many comments. I love the bold flowers on the black background and if you want to be the most comfortable person then this dress is for you. Perfect

So disappointed in the pic this looks like sweater material it's very thing silky so so disappointed
