Honeywell Palm Island 52" Tropical Ceiling Fan, Pull Chain, No Light, White

This 52-inch ceiling fan is an excellent choice for any medium-sized room, delivering powerful and refreshing airflow thanks to its stylish palm-leaf blades and optimal 12-degree pitch. After purchasing three of these fans, I can confidently say they all perform exceptionally well. The sturdy, all-weather ABS construction ensures long-lasting durability, while multiple mounting options provide versatility for different spaces. I found installation and operation straightforward with the intuitive three-speed pull chain. The reversible motor allows for year-round comfort, and I highly recommend this ceiling fan.

The first fan from a different manufacturer had to be returned. My husband and I are serious DIY-ers, and can get most things to work. But those instructions were absolutely terrible and the parts were not aligning with the pictures. This Honeywell fan was a breeze (pun intended) to set up! Very clear instructions. All the parts labeled correctly. Can be done by one person. Just lay all the parts out…read the instructions completely…maybe even twice….and then put it together and hang it on the ceiling! If using a fan speed switch on an outlet, it must be rated for fans. It cannot be a sliding dimmer type switch, but must be a a switch specifically for fans, where the speed lever actually “clicks” between speed settings. The detail web page just says “no dimmer switch”, but a phone call to Honeywell clarified what a fan-rated switch was, which is what we have in our 24 year old house. Highly recommend!

Fan looks great on our screen porch. Very quiet and well- balance right out of the box. Pretty easy to install. Didn't need any help. The one thing I am disappointed in is how strong the motor pushes air. As others have said, don't expect to have to grab a blanket! Motor is slightly undersized for the larger blades. High speed is basically medium on most other 52" fans. I live in the deep south where porch sitting goes on year round. This fan is not going to help me a lot in July and August.

My husband did the installation. Based on the number of expletives he used during the process , I'm going to guess the install was 3 stars. As far as functionality and style, I give this a 5 out of 5. It's very quiet - and circulates the air without the awful downdraft that I hate in most fans. (Really... I don't want hair blowing in my face like I'm on a jet ski). I did not order the remote - so can't rate that. The pull chain is better for me. (one less remote to keep track of). I ordered the darker color, and was very happy with the way it compliments my furniture. The size is perfect for a cozy lanai - would also work well in a tiki bar. For the price, this little fan is a great buy. Highly recommend.

It’s been working well and looks good

I am loving this fan! It was very easy to assemble. Not difficult to install (thanks to the help of a very handy friend!) and it was perfectly balanced with no weights needed. Also, it’s extremely quiet!! Amazingly so. I am absolutely pleased with this purchase.

Looks great mounted in my pavilion but even on high speed it barely moves any air. The blades are not shaped to move a lot of air like a normal fan would have.

We had it installed under the pergola in our garden. We cannot use the maximum speed as it is cery noisy and lower settings do not really produce much breeze. Quite disappointed with this product.

This fan has great aesthetics. it was very easy to install and runs very well and very quiet. I would recommend this to my friends.
