You don't need to use a lot of pressure and if you really scrub it may leave your skin irritated. If you like a scrub-y scrub you can really scrub and if you don't want to feel it scratchy you can gently buff it on the skin. I pretty much only use it on my armpits but its its a good scrub for everywhere. The scent is a light floral scent. Its does linger after use but won't last all day. It can be pretty strong when you use it on large areas of the body. If you are sensitive to smells this one would probably be too strong. I have to have it.
