It looks like an interesting project to put together, unfortunately it came with missing parts & because it came from the US, Amazon said they could not replace the missing items but the ONLY solution was to refund the whole thing and RE-ORDER. Also the whole manual is in Chinese but that should not be a problem as most of it is based on diagrams. I would of given it a high score if it was not this problem that I encountered, I had to go to the hardware store to get the washers luckily. If you are up for a challenge (lots of tiny parts that need securing in tight spaces and an extra challenge of having a manual in a foreign language, then this is for you.

I bought this chameleon metal model as a weekend project, and it ended up being one of the most satisfying builds I’ve done in a long time. The level of detail is outstanding—the colors pop beautifully once it’s complete, and the final piece looks like something out of a high-end art exhibit. It’s definitely a conversation starter sitting on my shelf. The precision of the metal parts is impressive. Every piece fits snugly, and the laser-cut detailing gives it a premium feel. The instructions are clear for the most part, though I’ll admit they require patience and focus. This isn’t something you can rush; it rewards careful hands and a calm mindset. My only small critique is that a few of the smaller bends were tricky—thin tweezers or a bending tool make a world of difference here. Tip: Take your time and organize the parts before starting. Using a magnifier and good lighting helps a lot, especially for the finer details. In the end, this model is worth every minute. It’s intricate, satisfying, and looks incredible once assembled. If you enjoy mechanical puzzles or detailed model kits, this one is absolutely worth adding to your collection.

Some areas very hard to access and needs tweaking from assembler. Sides don’t like up the same as the other sides. No one will notice but only you will because you built it.

This build was fun to construct. Every time I did some work on it, I recorded the time. This build took a total of 28 hours over several weeks. Be sure to request an English copy of the manual directly from the company. Pros: - Looks extremely awesome - Hefty weight makes it feel very high quality - Lots of details - Lots of satisfaction after completing critical steps Cons: - Not for the faint of heart. Some of these steps were nearly impossible with just the provided tools and took multiple tries. Recommendations: - For difficult steps, I often had to take time to reevaluate my strategy and think outside of the box. There were ~120 steps and some of them, while logically simple, took over an hour. I would encourage you to think about how gravity can help you, and how to maximize the use of both of your hands. Also, be sure not to tighten bolts too early until you’re sure you will not need to move joints later. Many later steps will require a precise geometry from previous steps and it’s easier to tighten afterwards. You can also bend metal sheet pieces to make steps easier, or in some cases, possible. I would recommend doing this early. Overall, patience and precision is required. So, if you’re up for a challenge, I would highly recommend trying out this set!
