Somewhat heavier than I expected. Power is great. Cuts as well as gas without the messing around with starting, mixing fuel, or noise. Charge time is minimal and the battery life isn't a drawback. With an extra battery you can have no interruptions in work. Will recharge in the same time as cutting with other one. Have been cutting with gas for 30+ years and I'm not disappointed. Absolutely would buy again. Only worry is whether cold will be an issue in WI, but so far has been great with several large trees cut.

Great chain speed and torque on the 20” saw. Cuts fast and easy. Battery life is so-so. You will need a 2nd battery. The scrench falls out of the holder on the bottom of the saw but can probably be adjusted. The saw is about as heavy as a gas saw but no fussing w carburetors, pull starter, air filters, gas filters, etc. I also bought the 12” saw and love it for its very light weight, can easily operate w one hand if you can do it safely. Saves your back. I sharpen chains for both saws routinely and frequently with STIHL 2 in 1 file holder, 3/8”p, 4.0 mm. Put the bar in a vise first.

Good saw. Battery last a long time

for a homeowner it is an excellent option. I was able to cut down and limb a large oak on a couple battery charges. Plus - low maintenance, low noise, minus - not quite a powerful as gas models, can be a little heavier based on the battery being used. Would buy it again.

More power than expected. I have used power saws of many sizes and for many purposes for decades. This was my first battery operated power saw. It gave me quick clean cuts. Be sure to have 2 batteries. I have another EGO product so have one battery with each or two if doing big task with one.

Great chainsaw. If you plan on cutting for only an hour or two it's perfect. A second battery would enable you to cut as much as you want, since they charge fast and switching them out is really easy. I don't care to ever own a gas chain saw again after using this. I've had it about a year now and have used it pretty extensively.

ego... always a good product

Has worked great so far. Better than the lesser model Ego chainsaw that I have.

This thing is a powerful little tool. I live in Canada and we get snow every second day. This is very powerful and great for the balcony where the Adirondack chairs are. No need to move them around anymore to get the snow out. Also great for going around nooks and uneven stones that line the driveway. Battery life is excellent!

Scie a chaine performante. Durée de la batterie: en vitesse rapide elle décharge assez rapidement. Idealement, il faudrait qu’ils vendent des kits avec 2 batteries Autre inconvénient: son poid et la gâchette a tendance à trop rentrer a l’intérieur qu’on finit par perdre de sa puissance et capacité, ce qui est domage.
