Very sturdy, very attractive

These are beautiful. I have a very small house and have been decorating as I go. I put these between a doorway to the hall (which is not much of a hall), but these add a bit of a personality to the small house.

Have a gas fired fireplace. I was told that my fireplace wasn't up to code. I found these metal shelf brackets to replace wooden corbels for my mantel. My old corbels weren't OK for today's building codes. I changed out the wooden corbels for these metal ones to keep my house up to code and probably safer. I feel they are an attractive replacement

I recently put up a new signpost on my driveway and knew it needed a little decoration. These brackets are perfect! There is a bit of imperfection - but that gives it that antique hand forged look - which was fine with me. They still attached perfectly. I can't speak for longevity, yet - but they appear to be coated/painted very well so I don't see these rusting any time soon. I did not put them up to help secure the posts - it was strictly for decoration - so I cannot speak for how well they would secure something - but with good screws, I can't see why they can't help keeping something in place as well.
