You actually don’t need a YouTube tutorial to get a decent result!
I’m not one to dye my hair. But it’s like Coronavirus Color Challenge since I can’t go to the salon. My hair comes in a mousey-blonde naturally, then lightens to almost platinum on its own in the sun. So I usually just get highlights to deal with the darker blonde color at my roots....It’s been months. I was like whatever, I’ll try something new - it’s not like anyone will see it. I’ve always liked Kelly Osbourne’s hair. I didn’t know how to do it without making my hair fall out...so I started with a box dye, One you’d get from CVS and did a whole head color of light/ash blonde. I didn’t bleach it...too scared. The box dye lightened me up a bit, but the roots looked orange-brassy.Still feeling a mess...I decided to go for the pink look. I saw the reviews and pics for this product and was like “meh, this will washout.” Why not!?I DID put it everywhere the first time, following the instructions to apply it to wet hair. It was easy to apply, it’s just like a conditioning mask texture. Doesn’t drip. Kinda’ idiot proof that way. Anyhow, it produced a nice light color - not quite as bold as I thought - but I enjoyed it and my hair was soft and various colors of pink. I did it! Gold star! Then I got greedy for more cowbell! ...I mean pink. So I took everyone’s advice and ran through that process again - wet hair, rinse, and blow dry. Not bad! It looked a TAD darker and I was pleased.Honestly, I don’t have thick hair or much of it but I suck at getting ALL my hair covered with the conditioner and I had blotches. I could use a friend to get that stuff everywhere. I did use a comb throughout application. I’m not patient enough to apply it differently in certain areas and blah blah blah So...yeah that’s why it’s blotchy. My fault. But it does comb through nicely without tangling - if your worried about your hair being a tumbleweed, that’s not gonna’ happen.Ok Ok ...Scrooge McDucked it the next morning because when I woke up the next day, I put a room full of coins you can dive in amount of it on my DRY hair. I let it sit for probably an hour. Mind you, despite having naturally blonde/light hair (and since I didn’t bleach it) nothing really tends to “sticks” to my hair very well. Even permanent dye from the salon washes out of my hair in a few days!Anyway! These pics are from the rinse off after the DRY application. By the way, the bottle is huge-or a little goes a long way. I think doing this 3 times on my full head of hair I probably still have 75% of the bottle left. Also, It doesn’t smell heinous. Actually, it’s got an enjoyable maybe sweet-floral sent. HOWEVER, You WILL get a little “burn” if you let it touch your face/forehead for a tad too long. Oops! It goes away quickly. And yes, will also get pink hands if you’re like me and take like an hour to get the stuff in your hair. I just used a magic eraser and some alcohol/nail polish and warm soap and water and it came right off.Again, My hair is still very soft. In fact, I would say since using this, my fine hair has had fewer and fewer little rats-nest tangles in it from just daily wear (wind, chores, lipstick getting in it - cement last week - look, I said I’m a mess).I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on my hair with this, since I sent pics of it to my pals who actually wouldn’t have seen it if it sucked because Coronavirus! Yay!It seems like it will rinse out within a month - for me - probably much sooner. But as it rinses out, it also seems like it will look decent - maybe NOT a mess. If it’s kinda’ meh, I was thinking of trying a peachy color.Final note: even if you’re not one of those people that are good with hair and makeup and girl-stuff, you CAN manage this. It’s just like a regular conditioner you’d have in your shower - except it dyes your hair. Also, I didn’t find it stained my sink or shower. I don’t even think it stained the little “hair towel turban” I used to flip it up when I let it sit. Maybe slightly pink? No more than if a brush full of makeup fell on it. (Yes FULL of makeup - I usually look like Harley Quinn when I “try” makeup so...yeh, a brush full). It’ll prolly wash out, though! So, yeah. Don’t be a mess. Even if you are a mess...you should try this. You won’t MAKE a mess; you’ll look cool? I don’t know...can you pull off pink when you’re almost 40? Whatever - you might have a moment of clarity about covid-coloring your hair and your coolness or lack thereof as correlated to age ...maybe profession. Prolly shouldn’t have done this before a job interview...meh, color cabin fever, what can you do?I’m glad I took a chance and put the effort in! Do it up, it’s fun! ^_^

Love it!
I watched a ton of YouTube tutorials and reviews. I have tried Overtone before in silver and was going to order their pink but wanted to see how this compared to it. I decided to go with this because I get 2 day shipping with Prime. Overtone takes longer for delivery because they're always having a delay and that's even before Covid. Customer service takes weeks to respond too. Any way, I had platinum blonde hair then added gray toner to get an ash blonde but it faded after a month. Instead of going back to the salon for a toner I wanted a temporary color for fun. Personally for me I found that when I follow the instructions on the bottle and in the YouTube videos it didn't work well for me. The pink was light and patchy (not all over color). So I tried a different method. I applied it on clean dry hair, parting my hair into many small sections so I can be sure I saturate it completely and I left it on while cleaning (maybe an hour). The results were amazing! My hair was a beautiful dusty rose and I received so many compliments! But I would only have the color for 2-3 days before it gets oily and I have to wash it. It fades after one wash! So I got really tired of doing the same thing weekly. I bought a permanent color dye instead and will use this as the conditioner to help keep the color longer. It smells great and makes my hair so so soft and less frizzy. My hair feels so healthy that I cringe when I have to curl it with a heating tool. My hair was pretty damaged from the monthly bleaching (root touch ups) Platinum blonde is a very high maintenance color when your hair is naturally dark brown/ black. I figured when the roots come in itll make a pretty ombre with the dusty rose. So i could stop the bleaching. Hope my suggestion works for yall.

Adds A Light Temporary Touch of Color and Softness
First of all, I have gray hair. Lighter/whiter streaks in the front, and darker/salt/pepper in the back. The product does say NOT RECOMMENDED FOR GRAY HAIR!! ... welp, but I was looking for a rosy tint to add to my hair w/out the damage or permanence of a true dye. While the color did not come out as vivid as I had wanted, or as it shows on the bottle, I'm happy with the light rosy color that I get even with the 'not recommended' gray hair. It also leaves my hair soft, and the scent is pleasing; not too harsh. My usual routine is to use the conditioner for three days. I apply it on dry hair before a shower, wait for 20 minutes, then rinse with warm to hotter water (only because that's what I am showering with). My roots don't seem to get the color as much as the ends; not sure if that's the effect of my face scrub/soap.But, none-the-less, recommended for short-term uses as it washes off with the use of my regular tea tree shampoo on the fourth or fifth day.I did try the lighter pink version in hopes of getting a slightly more vibrant pink, but it's actually lighter than the rose gold. Will try the neon pink next to see if I can get to the more vibrant, albeit subtle, pink hues I want.

Rose gold does work on light brown, but it’s very subtle.
After pics on light brown, highlighted hair. This product was easy to use. I applied on dry hair, going in sections, with the same method I would use for regular hair dye. I left it on for about 20 min.I started with light brown hair, with some auburn undertones, and some highlights. It did add some pink to the highlighted portions, but an overall more subtle copper tone to the brown hair. The color is more of a warm toned, peachy pink.Even though it worked okay, I wouldn’t buy again for three reasons. First is that I was trying to achieve a cool toned pink (this is my bad, for going with rose gold). Next is because the fragrance is strong and it reminds me of cheap perfume. Also, the product has silicone in it. That provides the smooth, silky feel that all the reviews mention, but it’s an ingredient I prefer to avoid.

My favorite discovery
I had my stylist give me blond highlights and then apply a demi-permanent rose gold color. I loved it but it washed out completely after only 3 washes in cool water with sulfate free shampoo. Very disappointing. So I went on the hunt for a better solution and came across this stuff 3 months ago.All I can say is WOW. It's so easy to use, deposits a ton of color every wash, leaves my hair soft and silky and smells great. I no longer bother having color applied at the salon since it doesn't last and this stuff gives me an even better color IMO. I have very thick, naturally light brown hair with blond highlights. Initially after fresh highlights, I apply a bunch of this stuff to my dry hair and leave it on 30min before washing out. After that, I use it with every wash (2-3x/week). I wet my hair, put the stuff in, root-to-tip, and leave it for 10min while I finish my shower then rinse. Occasionally, I use a separate conditioner but it's rarely necessary since the stuff is so creamy. Despite the lack of foam, it gets my hair clean and bouncy. I've never gotten so many complements on my hair before! The bottle lasts me about 1-1/2 months and I apply A LOT and have long, thick hair. For only $22 I think that's a pretty sweet deal. If you are looking for a "fantasy" color that is rich but not too crazy the rose gold is perfect.1 complaint is that the pumps sometimes don't work. My first and third bottle worked but the second did not. So save your pump in case the next bottle has a dud. This wasn't a big enough deal to me to knock off a whole star, but it is worth mentioning.I will come back later and attach some pics if it allows me. I don't typically write reviews but this stuff just makes me so happy :)

Absolutely stunning. Every color is wonderful.
Stunning. I wanted to color some Grays and back in the '80s I frosted my hair one strand at a time and then I set the timer. So you could imagine how horrible it was. I went to the salon and they gave me a brown moose and said don't touch it anymore before it all falls out. Well 35 years later I said I don't like these Grays so I went to Sally's and I said can you help me with some brown moose and they're like we don't know what you're talking about lol but we have this Keracolor Clenditioner. I bought the mocha and I liked it so I went back and I got the Auburn and I liked it but you have to put the mocha on the gray first and then put the color but anyway I also tried the hot pink and that just made my head look like a strawberry. I've also used ion hot red which is very pretty with my hair color and the mocha Kericolor. So I decided I really love rose gold and I'm going to try it. I have a rose gold Bible and my note 20 Ultra phone is Rose gold. I have a curling iron that color. I just really like it. No I don't have blonde hair and I'm not going to bleach it either. I just went for it. Over the last two days twice I washed my hair with Paul Mitchell clarifying shampoo and actually found that to be beneficial for my thin hair. It fluffed it up and cleaned it and made it shiny so I might buy more of that. I wanted to kind of wash out some of the other color which didn't actually wash out much and now I just put this one on and it just came out beautiful I'm so pleased. I'll have to get a picture in the sunlight. I've always been a little bit envious of the other girls that can do things to their hair and it doesn't fall out but as soon as I do something to mine I got a problem. This stuff is wonderful and it improves the condition of my hair no matter which one I use. I have very fine hair that has fallen out from 14 surgeries. I've been using the minoxidil 5% a few times a week on a Q-tip and it's working. My hair natural hair is a medium brown with lighter ends that have a reddish tint with also silvery white Grays at the temple. My hair is growing in and these colors are stunning. The mocha in the temple area where you have more grays set down first with the color on top does a very nice job.

This one's a bust
I dye my hair fantasy colors regularly, and I've done pretty much every color. I've used several shades of this product, but this was my first time trying the rose gold. The pump was broken, but at least I had a regular shampoo style cap to use. I applied to dry hair, left it for about 30 minutes, and rinsed. The good news is it smells great, the mixed news is it is VERY conditioning, so much so that it weighs my hair down and I can't use it more than once a week without looking greasy. The bad news? Most of the color rinsed right out, which hasn't happened with the other shades of this product I've used. The color that remained is an almost violet tinted brown; not at all the color I expected based on the "results" images on the label.I was going for rose gold and ended up what can only generously be called "strawberry brunette" I guess? Hopefully some tea tree shampoo will pull out the color that remains so I can just get my stylist to redo the color.

Beautiful color but does NOT condition well
My hair is naturally medium brown; I had blonde highlights and color done at the salon beforehand, and purchased the "rose gold" color of this product to maintain and deepen the color (initial color was pale pink). After one wash with this product, the pink was still very light and a little hard to notice except in the right lighting. After three washes, my highlights had a nice dusty rose pink color that was definitely noticeable, although not especially dark or deep in tone. I am not sure I would call this color rose gold: it is more of a dusty rose (at least on my hair), but in my opinion it is definitely a beautiful color. It might affect lighter hair tones differently. Also, the color does not take to the unbleached natural brown parts of my hair at ALL, so if you have darker hair and want all-over color, you'll likely have to bleach everything.Maintaining color is not as easy to do as the bottle implies. Directions indicate that desired color, once achieved, can be maintained for several weeks, or by alternating this product with regular shampoo. This was not the case for me. After washing my hair just once with regular (not color-safe) shampoo, the color was all but gone. I've found that when I apply this product to dry hair, it's much more effective: after just one dry application I achieved almost the same level of color I had gotten from three wet washes. (Another trick I have yet to try but that may be effective is to apply heat to color-treated hair before rinsing, like they do in salons). After washing my hair with color-safe shampoo, a lot of the color still washed out, but it was better than using regular shampoo. Long story short, I cannot alternate this product with regular, even color-safe, shampoo, and I certainly cannot go several weeks in between applications if I want to maintain any color. Either I have to do three wet applications alternated with one regular shampoo wash, or do one dry and one wet application alternated with one regular shampoo wash. Either way, I'm using this product 2-3 times a week, so it isn't cheap. The upside is that it allows for easy and quick change of hair color--and this product does come in many different colors. Finally, a note on the cleaning/conditioning qualities of this product. It seems to clean well enough (although it may not feel like it because, as it says on the bottle, it does not foam or create any suds). My hair and scalp feel clean after a wash. However, my hair feels like STRAW after rinsing out the product, so I cannot give high marks for its conditioning abilities. I have to apply several leave-in products after a wash (e.g. leave-in conditioner, hair oil, etc.) to get my hair feeling healthy and silky again. My hair is thick and naturally curly, so it already needs a little extra help; this product makes it feel stripped. Conditioner, not so much.In summary, although I have to use this product more often than expected to achieve my desired color, it does give me beautiful color. I only wish it left my hair feeling soft and silky.

Excellent product
This is the best conditioner for maintaining pink/rose gold hair colours. It leaves your hair super soft while rejuvenating the colour. Plus, you could even use this as a hair dye alone. My hair stylist recommended I use a different brand to maintain my colour but it was awful and did nothing. So, on a whim I purchased this and it has been working beyond well for me!

Amazing pigment
Loved this. Gave my hair a tint that was gorgeous, glossy and a pretty pink

Excelente!
