I also have dropped this item probably a good 2-3 times, it has not broken or chipped or scratched. It’s a perfect item to place on a night stand next to bed, or a shelf, or even on an entertainment center. It isn’t something that takes up too much space but it isn’t too small to where you can’t see the photos either. I recommend this if your looking for something cute and sentimental for you and a friend, you and a spouse, even you and family. It’s not hard to use either you plug it in press the button on the wire to turn it on, it also comes with a remote that’s quick and easy to use! you can dim the brightness, change the color to warm or white, etc. 10/10 - DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!
