Don't Worry about the Brown Box
First, I rarely post reviews of any product, but the lack of information on Tineco's site and Amazon prompted me to do so. Like many, I purchased an S7 Pro, which arrived in a BROWN box. The shipper box label did reference the S7 Pro as the description; I wasn't concerned as I understand some companies pack their Products in a Shipper box or Retail Box (the White Box) that many referenced in other comments. Retail boxes are usually for brick-and-mortar stores so the consumer can view product features when they compare the products in the store. Retail boxes are often not sturdy enough to ship independently and must be shipped inside another box to hold up during transport. Now that we have the Box out of the way, I, too, was concerned that the model I received did not have "ULTRA" mode. When you download the manual online for the S7 Pro, it lists "Ultra" Mode instead of "Custom." The manual I received only described the "S7 Series". The model number listed for the S7 Pro is FW200300US, but the model number on the box I got is FW221100US. I assumed I needed to download the Tineco App to unlock the "Ultra" Mode, so I logged in and paired my device, but the Device Name was "Floor One S7." Again, I did not see "Pro." Looking at the website, I did not find a model number until I looked at the rollers, which have version 1 and version 2. The roller I have looks like Version 1, but it says it's for "Tineco FLOOR ONE S7 PRO/S5/S5 PRO 2 Replacement Brush Roller," but the radio button name is "S5/S5 Pro," and the other radio button is "S7 Pro (FW200300US)" which was not the model I got. If you click next to the comment for "For Tineco FLOOR ONE S6/S7 Pro(SKU FW200300US) Smart Vacuum Cleaners," the answer you get is "Specially designed for Tineco Floor One S7 Pro (order before July 10, 2024)." I admit I still don't know which one I need to order, and it's unclear which is which, but that is Future Me's problem. At this point, I was pretty sure I got the wrong device. Like the other reviews, I got an S7 and not an S7 Pro, even though a base S7 is not listed on their site. So, after reaching out to Tineco's support team for the last few days, they were very responsive and quick to address everything I noticed and the comments. They confirmed, based on the Model and Serial number I gave them, that it was, in fact, an S7 PRO. They stated that the FW200300US has been discontinued, which explains the 2 different roller versions and the comment about "Ordered before July 10, 2024." The comment from the Tineco Support Team: We received feedback from our support team. Please note that this machine is an improved Floor One S7 Pro version. The old version has been discontinued. Based on the feedback from some user groups about the complicated operation of the machine, we simplified the design of the handle and display, and removed the Ultra mode; Tineco is committed to providing easy-to-use machines for all user groups. In addition, the new version of S7 Pro uses soft-pack batteries for the first time in the cleaning appliances industry, which improves the battery life and reliability. The roller brush motor has been improved and can rotate in both directions, which can keep the roller brush fluffy and more durable; Regarding the dirt water tank, it has also been completely upgraded. The new filter device can effectively separate solids and liquids, making it more convenient to clean and maintain after daily use. The graphite pole piece that will not rust can be used to detect the water level, which significantly reduces the failure rate of sensor false alarms. Please don't worry, the machine you received is the correct model according to the serial number, pictures and details you provided. Sorry for the long review, but I thought it was important to understand that I went through all the questions and concerns many of you may have when receiving the device. All in all, I have been using the device for a month, and I love it. I can clean my main floor and part of my basement before the battery dies, about 2,000-3,000 Sqft. I may need to refill the water twice, as there is still some in there from the last clean, and empty the dirt water twice. Tineco Q&A does note that if you don't use the Tineco solution, it could use more water and require more frequent refills and dumping because of the bubbles. So far, it's been a great purchase; I have been eying it for about 6 months, and glad I finally pulled the trigger.

Essential with kids!
I got my tineco in December of 2025 and have really enjoyed using it! Compared to the generated pros and cons I think the drying time is great! If the setting is on MAX it truly does a great clean. It has a function where it’ll work harder on tougher food/sticky on the floor. With three kids this is essential! The only thing I wish was that the clean water and dirty water reservoir tanks were bigger! Super easy to use with the help of the roller brush working with you. It is spendy but well worth the money!

I wish I had my money back...buyer beware of issues you don't discover until it happens to you.
Battery issues, self cleaning mode issues, Wifi connection issues. I had been wanting one of these for a long time, so I bought this at the very end of July 2024 during prime deal days when it was on sale, but wish I hadn't. I felt like I had done a good bit of research on this product, and really hadn't seen any negative reviews. At first everything was great and worked well, no issues. the only weird thing I thought was that for the self cleaning modes, it says you can select a quick self clean or a super self clean, lasting 2 minutes or 6 minutes respectively. From the time of unboxing I was never able to select super self clean, nor does the manual have instructions on how to select one or the other, nor could I find any information online anywhere about how to do this. (side note - I remembered today that this thing had an app, so I tried connecting it for the first time thinking I had to select super self clean in-app, but was unable to get it to successfully pair to my Wifi or bluetooth. Also cannot find any helpful troubleshooting for this online). I thought it was a minor issue that I would figure out, but still never have. Fast forward about 2-3 weeks post-purchase, I ended up moving back to college, and used it once at my new house, everything went fine. My floor in my new house hides dirt really well, and I am extremely busy with my college program, so I hadn't thought to mop for about 5-6 weeks honestly. This past weekend I did a deep clean of my house, and got my Tineco s7 pro out to clean my floors, which has been sitting on the dock with the charger plugged in since I moved back. To my surprise, the battery was dead. I placed it back on the dock and it said "charging". Went to check on it about 20 minutes later only to find that it had stopped charging and was still at 0%. I wiggled it around some on the dock and it said charging again. Checked on it about 10 minutes later and it was at 8%, still charging. Came back about 15 mintues later and it was magically at 100%. I thought that was odd, but used it anyway. I was able to use it for about 5 minutes, and the battery was down to about 88%, so kept going. About 2 minutes later it shut off and said the battery was dead. Placed it back on the dock and it said charging, and the % kept going up so left it alone for the night. The next morning, I tried to clean again, and it said it was at 100%. Used it for about 3-5 minutes, paying more attention to the battery percentage, which was going down RAPIDLY. After about 5 minutes or less it was dead again. Thank goodness I bought the protection package. I am in the process of filing a claim to send it in for repairs now, but honestly wish I could just get my money back and buy something else, probably not Tineco. I don't understand how this has so many good reviews. After this happened, I looked into this problem and it seems it is a very common issue that I didn't discover until it happened to me.

Quiet, Powerful, Convenient, and Effective Floor Mopping Solution
The first thing to know is that I have been using one of the original, plug-in (with cord) Bissel Crosswave machines for years. And I like that machine (despite its drawbacks) for what it was. It certainly cleaned my floors more effectively than the prior regimen. But the Bissel suffers from low-quality construction on the internals, deteriorating suction, and was incredibly loud, right from the start (like all Bissel machines, across the board). I’ve watched these floor mopping vacuums improve over time, but not enough for me to spend an additional ~$500 when what I had was good enough. Until now. The Tineco S7 is orders of magnitude better than the legacy (original) Bissel CrossWave. From what I can tell, even the current cordless Bissel CrossWave has not developed their core technology to make it all that different from the original. It is as if the Bissel is an aging and clapped-out Ford sedan, and Tineco rolls up in their new Lexus. Both of those anologous devices are cars, but…eh: That kind of difference. Anyway, two days ago I vacuum-mopped the main/etnry floor hardwood and tile (kitchen, dining room, living room, family room, two baths, den, foyer, and mud room) with the old Bissel Crosswave — using Bissel’s proprietary cleaning solution. Since then, this level has been vacuumed by an iRobot j9 automatic mini vacuum, and once with a Dyson D15 stick vac. A total of about 1900 sf. This morning, after allowing the Tineco S7 to charge overnight, I ran my first vacuum-mopping job, mostly using “Auto” mode, but switching to the “Ultra” (disinfect) mode for the two bathrooms. The automatic assist from the wheels is handy, so long as you do not yank the device around. If the wheels are crossing an already-wet floor, they may fail to register that you have changed directions, and keep spinning the wrong way. But fluid, methodical sweeping is your friend, here. The wheels do work effectively (despite what some reviews may say) when the device is used as designed. Basically: Don’t be a dope. The edge cleaning (especially compared to the Bissel’s non-existence edge cleaning) is superb. Works exactly as advertised, and having *both* sides clean to the edge is very useful. Good design. The biggest difference compared to the Bissel CrossWave? This thing is QUIET, operating somewhere around 63 dB, whereas the corded Bissel CrossWave probably exceeds 100 dB (very loud). The howl that the Bissel produces is, tbh, pretty unpleasant. This Tineco S7 gets high marks for it superbly quiet operation. The Tineco, however, still makes noise, but you can turn that noise off: The “helpful” instructions it blurts out are waaaaay too loud at the default setting; and still too much at their lowest. So that got turned off. The large screen is helpful enough. And that is a large and attractive display that the S7 has, if you are into that kind of thing. The associated app, too, is moderately useful. But back to cleaning. Please refer to the attached pictures and vid to see what *water* (no Tineco cleaning solution used) cleaned up just two days after I had used the Bissel CrossWave; and after two vacuum sweeps by an iRobot and a Dyson. The depicted water is kinda gross, as all these pictures typically are. But then: I’d been walking on that gunk, thinking the floor was clean. It was not. The self-cleaning feature of the Tineco is also very useful (I ran the 2-minute version, not the 6-minute one). The extra roller and filter are ideal, cuz they can be swapped out from the hand-cleaned dirty water receptacle, etc., and the ones you just used allowed to dry. Some have complained that the Tineco can develop odors. This is almost certainly because owners have neglected to maintain and dry the machine after use. So do be aware: There is some very ordinary maintenance required to keep this device in good working condition. Perhaps 10 minutes (at most) after each use. Is this Tineco expensive, even with “Black Friday” deals? Yes, it is. But as I said at the beginning, it is orders of magnitude better in every way than the corded Bissel CrossWave I am moving on from. Just night and day. And the proof is in the pictures. Will it last? Well…there are the batteries, which do not appear consumer-replaceable. That is a concern. Worth noting that 1900 sf + one 2-minute cleaning cycle used 53% of the battery from full. So the larger-than-others capacity of these batteries should see reasonably-good longevity. If it is a concern, buy the extended warranty from Amazon for $50. Other than battery life concerns, everything else seems top notch. There is an issue with how well the used-water tank attaches — distinctly less precise than the snick-snick for the clean water tank. Which is odd. Tineco should address that. But these are just quibbles on what is a very good vacuum-floor-mopping machine that, all in all, should improve your ability to keep a clean house, measurably.

This is the bomb!!!
This machine is not like anything I have ever seen or had before. It is super easy to use. I made sure all of the big crumbs were off of the floor before I used this. As I started using it, I found that I didn’t really have to push it back-and-forth. All I had to do was guide it because it is self-propelled. It just kind of glides almost sometimes like it’s floating. It picked up everything. The vacuum on it is very good. I was expecting to see wet from the water and mopping, but did not see any water. I bent Down to see if it was wet. And it was. It did a remarkable job Cleaning my floors. I couldn’t be happier. I noticed on dirtier spots, I could push Max and it would clean it really good and then put it back on auto. It talks to you and tells you what to do and I did not find that annoying at all. When I was through cleaning, I put it back on its dock and loved the fact that it was self cleaning the roller. I emptied the dirty water and oh my word. I couldn’t believe how black the water was. I didn’t realize that floor was that dirty, but it seemed to have gotten it all. And it had all kind of gunk in the water that I didn’t even see on the floor. Love love love this machine. I went ahead and spent a little bit of extra money on getting this Particular Machine for two reasons. Number one. It rolled back-and-forth with ease. And number two, because of the battery power. It said that it would go for 45 minutes. I cleaned about 500 ft.² of floor and when I got through, I had 18% power left. Had I’ve gotten a machine that was less than 45 minutes, I would have not been able to finish until it recharged which takes 4 to 5 hours. I am thrilled with this Machine.

Effective with only minor annoyances
After about having it for a year and using it a few times a year, I can say that I like it. It might not be as effective as getting down on my hands and knees - though to my untrained eyes, my floors at least look and feel clean, but it certainly beats having to be on my hands and knees or having the hassle of carrying a mop and bucket (and the concerns of the ever increasingly dirty bucket). I have no issues with the weight or ease of use - it works pretty much like is says: a vacuum cleaner. I have a small townhouse and can easily handle all hardwood floors with one charge/bucket. Cleaning is pretty easy - just pretty much follow the instructions in the manual. I like that at the end, you can just put in in the charger and run a clean cycle to clean the roller. I only really have two, minor, issues. The first is that after a year, I've used all the brush and filter that come with the purchase and needed to be more.. which became an adventure because apparently it isn't that easy to just buy a replacement brush and filter for some reason. It also doesn't help that apparently the device went through a revision recently that changed the size of the filter and roller you need so you need to look at when the device was made/the product number (I believe it's just behind the dirty water bin - you see it when you take it off) and make sure you get the correct replacement roller and filter. The other issue is that it talks to much. I'm not a fan of "smart" devices. I don't need it to connect to WIFI or tell me all sorts of things that I pretty much no. Fortunately, you don't need to connect it and you can mute it. Unfortunately, every so often (it's like every 3+ time I use it), I get startled as machine is suddenly screaming at me because it not only unmuted on its own and at full volume. At least it can be muted again... at least until the next time.

Excellent Product
I wasn’t expecting to be this impressed with the Tineco Floor ONE S7, but it has exceeded all of my expectations. It cleans our vinyl floors exceptionally well, and even the Auto mode is powerful enough to handle everyday dirt, dust, and spills without needing to switch to a higher setting. What I like most is how effortlessly it leaves the floors looking spotless while adjusting the cleaning power automatically. It saves time, uses water efficiently, and the floors dry quickly without streaks. After trying several floor cleaning products over the years, this is by far the best one we’ve ever used for vinyl flooring. If you’re looking for a machine that makes floor cleaning easier and delivers excellent results, the Tineco Floor ONE S7 is absolutely worth it.

Review for Tineco Floor ONE S7 PRO
Pros: ✔ Excellent Construction & Engineering – High-quality materials, well-thought-out design, and easy disassembly. ✔ Easy Maintenance – Clean water tank, dirty water tank, debris catch, air filter, and roller are all effortless to remove and clean. ✔ Lightweight & Slim – Maneuvers easily around tight spaces and isn’t cumbersome to use. ✔ Edge-to-Edge Roller – Effectively cleans against walls and baseboards, outperforming wider rollers on other vacuums. ✔ Intuitive UI & Display – The Dirty-to-Clean indicator ring is a great visual guide for cleaning progress. ✔ Water Efficiency – Leaves minimal water behind, preventing streaks or residue buildup. ✔ Self-Cleaning Works Well – After 5 days of use, the roller hasn’t developed any musty smells, a common issue with other wet vacuums. Cons: ✖ Very Expensive – At ~$600, it’s among the most premium wet-dry vacuums. ✖ Long Charge Time (4-5 hours) vs. Run Time (40 mins) – While Auto Mode extends runtime, Max Mode drains the battery in a single 40-minute session. ✖ Cannot Tilt Completely Flat – This limits cleaning under very low furniture. Real-World Usage: My home is 2,400 sq. ft., mostly tile, excluding bedrooms. The S7 Pro performed exceptionally well during my tests. Day 1: Max Mode Battery Test Battery ran from 100% → 10% in ~40 mins (Expected for Max Mode, as it runs full suction, roller, water pump, and drive wheels.) 3 full water tank changes (Clean & Dirty) – Needed due to Max Mode’s higher water usage. No large water droplets left behind – Even with constant water flow, the S7 Pro never over-saturated the floor. Post-Cleaning: Self-cleaning requires the vacuum to be at least 20% charged. This means waiting 30 mins after discharging to 10% before running the self-clean cycle. Roller removed and air-dried separately on the dock – A must for long-term odor control. Day 2-5: Auto Mode & Routine Cleaning Auto Mode saves power – Cleaning the same areas now leaves ~25% battery remaining instead of 10%. Water Tank Usage – 2 full changes (instead of 3) since Auto Mode only uses water when needed. Noise Level: ~68 dB, which is quiet enough for daily use without being annoying. Cleaning Performance: Surface-level dirt & stains – Easily removed, with no need for multiple passes. Larger debris pickup – Handles oatmeal and small crumbs efficiently (as shown in third-party tests). Comparisons to Other Models: 1️⃣ Tineco S7 Pro vs. Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam Plus Edge Cleaning: S7 Pro wins – Bissell lacks true edge-to-edge rollers. Water Efficiency: Bissell wins – Some people report slightly better water usage. (Bissel uses Steam though) Charging: S7 Pro wins – Bissell's model lacks battery operation and requires a cord. 2️⃣ Tineco S7 Pro vs. Roborock Dyad Pro Odor Management: Roborock wins – Features heated roller drying, reducing long-term smells, though my S7 Pro has no odor issues. Battery Life: S7 Pro wins – Longer runtime than Dyad Pro in most modes. Build Quality: S7 Pro wins – Other revies report Roborock's plastics feel cheaper than Tineco’s. 3️⃣ Tineco S7 Pro vs. Dreame H12 Pro Charging Time: Dreame wins – Charges 1 hour faster than S7 Pro. Overall Cleaning Power: S7 Pro wins – More thorough water control prevents streaking. Key Takeaways: 1️⃣ Battery Life vs. Charge Time – The S7 Pro’s 4-5 hour charge time is a downside, but Auto Mode extends usage significantly. A faster-charging model would be welcome. 2️⃣ Edge Cleaning & Roller Width – Initially, I thought the 10-inch roller was a downside, but it’s actually a benefit, fitting into smaller spaces than wider 12-inch rollers like those on Dyson vacuums. 3️⃣ Self-Cleaning & Odor Prevention – Even after 5 days, there’s no musty smell in the roller, but removing it to air-dry is key. Heated drying (like on the Roborock Dyad Pro) might be a good future upgrade. 4️⃣ Price Justification – While expensive, the engineering quality, cleaning power, and ease of maintenance justify the premium cost compared to cheaper alternatives. Final Rating: 🌟 5/5 Stars 🌟 Would I Recommend It? → Yes, but only if you want a top-tier wet vacuum. If you’re okay with the higher price and charge time, you’ll love its edge cleaning, easy disassembly, and overall performance. If cost is a concern, Bissell and Dreame offer budget-friendly alternatives
