Can work from PC on 1 usb-c cable - that it has to be around 1m in length or really high quality. Tried it on a 3m cable and it worked until using some of the screen functions (FPS,RTS modes) - which use more power and caused a crash boot loop with the monitor. And also on longer cable the multitouch didn't work either - guess it's a power issue. But it does all work just fine on the 1m cable. Tried on a Android 11 phone from 2020 - didn't work at all - guess my phone doesn't have a full feature USB-C. Good value and handy if you're aware of these limitations. Review: Portable / convenience / functional - Great little (or not so little) portable monitor. So far I’ve used it for setting up a new Xbox (just needed a usb power cable and HDMI cable) and a pc (powered and video signal down the one cable) and as a second screen for my MacBook (one USB-C cable for video, power, and even the touchscreen function!) Not the cheapest portable monitor out there but gives a good image, even not bad sound, and it’s simple to use. ## Features - Dual 16" Full HD & IPS Touchscreens: Instantly transform your laptop into a triple-screen workstation with two vibrant 16-inch 1920×1200 IPS panels. Enjoy 350 cd/m² brightness, a 16:10 aspect ratio and 99% sRGB colour gamut for crisp, colour-accurate visuals wherever you work. - Responsive 10-Point Capacitive Touch: Both external screens support smooth, accurate touch via USB data connection – tap, swipe, drag, zoom or annotate directly on the displays. Important: install the DisplayLink and touch drivers from the supplied USB flash drive first; touch is not available through an HDMI-only connection. - Effortless One-Cable Simplicity: After driver setup, a single USB-C cable delivers power, video and touch simultaneously. If your laptop lacks the required USB-C port, use the included USB-A 3.0 to Type-C2 adapter cable (host must have a USB-A 3.0 port to drive both external monitors over one cable). If your laptop power is insufficient, simply connect an external power supply to the Type-C1 port. - 300% Productivity Boost: Extend, mirror or rotate into portrait mode across screens – eliminate constant window switching and keep everything visible at once. Perfect for traders, programmers, designers and travelling professionals. - USB-C, USB-A 3.0 & Dual Mini HDMI Ports: Two Mini HDMI inputs provide a reliable video connection for older laptops, desktops and mini PCs. Note: HDMI transmits video only – use the USB ports for touch, data and power. When extra power is required, utilise the dedicated Type-C1 power-only port. Multiple connectivity options make this a flexible triple-screen solution for both laptop and desktop setups. - Laptop Screen Extender for Windows and Mac: Supports display expansion on compatible Windows and macOS computers, plus USB-C video from devices such as iPhone 15/Pro/Max and Steam Deck when host video output is supported. Windows provides the fullest multi-touch support after setup; macOS touch behavior can vary by OS and driver. Game consoles and HDMI-only sources generally support display output without touch. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0H8RLHC5T | | Aspect Ratio | 16:10 | | Aspect ratio | 16:10 | | Best Sellers Rank | 45,924 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) 851 in Monitors | | Brand | Prechen | | Brand Name | Prechen | | Colour | Black | | Colour Gamut Value | 99 | | Contrast Ratio | 1000:1 | | Country of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 out of 5 stars 48 Reviews | | Display Technology | IPS | | Display Type | LED | | Hardware Connectivity | HDMI, USB Type C, mini HDMI | | Has Color Screen | Yes | | Image Brightness | 350 Candela | | Image contrast ratio | 1000:1 | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 360D x 15W x 280H millimetres | | Manufacturer | Shenzhen Kenowa Electronics Co., LTD | | Maximum Display Resolution | 1920 x 1200 Pixels | | Model Number | HD-160 | | Native Resolution | 1920x1200 | | Network Connectivity Technology | USB Type C HDMI | | Product Features | Touchscreen Built-In Speakers | | Product Warranty | 1 | | Refresh Rate | 60 Hz | | Resolution | HD | | Response Time | 3 Milliseconds | | Screen Finish Type | Glossy | | Screen Size | 16 Inches | | Screen size | 16 Inches | | Screen surface description | Glossy | | Specific Uses For Product | Gaming Business Desktop Entertainment Photo Video Editing Surveillance | | Total HDMI Port | 2 | | Total USB 3.0 Ports | 1 | | Total Video Out Ports | 2 | | UPC | 753018433277 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Aspect ratio:** 16:9 - **Brand:** Prechen - **Connectivity technology:** HDMI, USB Type C - **Display resolution maximum:** 1920 x 1080 - **Display type:** LCD - **Image contrast ratio:** ≥3000:1 - **Resolution:** FHD 1080p - **Screen size:** 18.5 Inches - **Screen surface description:** Glossy - **Special feature:** Built-In Speakers, Portable, Touchscreen ## Images ![16” Laptop Screen,Triple Portable Touchscreen Monitor, Foldable Display - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71zULCkPKsL.jpg) ![16” Laptop Screen,Triple Portable Touchscreen Monitor, Foldable Display - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71IKRK6CErL.jpg) ![16” Laptop Screen,Triple Portable Touchscreen Monitor, Foldable Display - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71lkX+ngbWL.jpg) ![16” Laptop Screen,Triple Portable Touchscreen Monitor, Foldable Display - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Mj5jjR2hL.jpg) ![16” Laptop Screen,Triple Portable Touchscreen Monitor, Foldable Display - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71dIAVD0uYL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What should I know when using this monitor？** A: 1. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good monitor but fiddly adjustment *by J***N on 10 April 2024* I paid £150 for this "Prechen" monitor, a very reasonable price compared with well-known makes. It seems that somebody in China has come up with the idea of selling goods under made-up names, and you can find many of them amongst the monitors on Amazon. But the monitor and the packaging are all completely generic - nowhere is the name "Prechen" mentioned. The monitor is robust enough, but will need care if you are going to use it as a portable monitor to carry around with you. It has a good stand attached. It really is plug-and-play, and in no time at all I had my second screen connected to my PC (Windows 10) with the touchscreen working. However, if you want to do any adjusting of the picture the adjustment knob is very tiny and also difficult to access on the side of a panel behind the screen. If you have not worked with a second screen before, you need to know that to set it up you have to access your display settings in Windows 10, where you can change between single screen, duplicate screen or extended screen. The leads provided are very short (all of them around 1m long), so you will not be able to work with the screen at any distance from your PC. You can operate with just two leads (leave off the mains power lead), so that the device draws power from your PC via the USB socket, but this seems to give a slightly less bright and clear picture. I am using the screen to mark exam papers online, so haven't really tested the screen for video and gaming, although it was good enough in the short bits I watched, but not as good as my PC monitor. I have been unable to get this monitor to work with my Android phone, so if that is going to be important to you, you may have to do a bit of fiddling (I can't be bothered at the moment). Overall, at the price, I am very happy with the monitor. ## Frequently Bought Together - Prechen Portable Touchscreen Monitor 18.5 Inch, HDR, 350cd/m², 1920x1080 Touch Display with HDMI USB C, 99% sRGB, Built-in Speakers, Kickstand & VESA,Travel Second Monitor for Laptop PC - Losong Portable Monitor Case 18.5 Inch,Protective Carrying Sleeve for Most 18.5 in Portable Monitors,Water Resistant Portable Laptop Display Bag with Accessory Pocket,Size-17.7"x11.2"Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/616868064-16-laptop-screen-triple-portable-touchscreen-monitor-foldable-display](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/616868064-16-laptop-screen-triple-portable-touchscreen-monitor-foldable-display) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
