I chose this table after quite a bit of online searching because #1: it's made of wood not mdf or particle board #2: It was less than $100 including delivery #3: it fits in with our rustic southwestern decor #4: it was extremely easy to assemble! I did have a slight hesitation before buying it based on a couple reviews that complained about stain coming off on their hands, bad chemical odors and I think someone said theirs was broken. Or parts missing.? I was fortunate that NONE of those things happened to me. As a matter of fact this table was one of the easiest things I've ever assembled! It arrived complete and undamaged and one day sooner than expected. There are only 4 steps to the instructions. The first 3 all have predrilled holes for the screws. Step 4 is actually really optional which is an addition you can put on the bottom of the table, where you can add some L brackets for more stability. This step does not have predrilled holes which is no big deal if you have a drill and minimal skills. We did it and it was easy. Oh BTW the table looks a lot like a miniature picnic table. I may decide to stain it later on and add a protective coating, That's a good thing about real wood is you can stain it and keep the wood grain. This is not a really heavy table but it seems sturdy. It doesn't wobble. There are some visible knots but I wanted that because I was going for rustic not refined. Not stuffy. The knots are smooth not bumpy and they add to the look. Also the top is solid wood and it might ding or scratch if you do something rough to it. I'm just going to put a leather placemat down and some coasters. I am very happy with this purchase.

This table was pretty easy to put together & looks great! Feels pretty sturdy as well. It does have kind of a rough texture to it so I don’t put any drinks or anything on it without a coaster just in case it holds stains (Reason I’m only giving 4 stars). Great piece for the price though!

This is a great table for our family. No worries about spills on wood finishes. It was easy to assemble with few parts. The metal and wood design fits my home needs perfectly.

Love it!!! Just what I wanted. Stain was very damp when I opened the box, but it didn’t hurt anything. Beautiful addition to my living room space.

Make sure you inspect before putting together. I didn’t. I put it together then flipped it over to see the top looked like crap. Now I have to take it apart and rebox it. Edit: After speaking with customer service (not Amazon) they say this is part of the wood pattern and what to send me $30 to buy a table runner. This is not part of the wood. This is a staining issue. So I will be returning it.

This is not a $1K table but for the price it delivers it's very nice, functional and solid and putting it together can be accomplished by anyone. I recommend it great bang for your bucks!👍

The table is nice and easy to assemble but there is hardly any finish on it so it's pretty much just the wood. Which means it is rough and easily stains I added more finish to the table.

I really love this wood coffee table.It honestly makes my living room feel so much more warm and put together without trying too hard. The wood has that nice natural look that goes with pretty much anything, and it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all. It’s sturdy enough that I can put drinks, books, candles, all the usual stuff, and it holds up really well.

Beautiful piece – perfect size for my living room! I saw some comments about the finishing and the smell, but in my case, the finishing is great and there’s no smell at all. It completely transformed the look of my living room. I’m very happy with this purchase!
