Snowshoe Bag, Tote Bag for Carrying, Packing and Storing Snowshoes, Fits Snowshoes Up to 25 Inches

When this bag is out of stock, consider the Athletico Small on Amazon (see review). Bought this for a pair of 22" Lightning Ascent Snowshoes. It is a high-quality, attractive bag with thoughtful pockets, vents and pole attachments. It is made of durable fabric with strong handle attachments but bear in mind that I don't think any fabric will hold up to the highly serrated bottoms of Lightning Ascents or similar snowshoes. I edged my snowshoes with Seal Rubber 1/2" U-Channel EPDM Edge fitting up to a 2mm wide edge (on Amazon). I also put a cut to size rubber liner in the bottom of the bag and between the snowshoes - it was a DOBTIM Neoprene Rubber Sheet Roll 1/16 (.062)" Thick X 12" Wide X 5' Long on Amazon. Very happy with the completed set up.

Love this bag! MSR makes some good products, in general, and this looked like the most practical and best quality bag of all the ones I searched. Wasn't disappointed. It's got a shoulder strap but also a nice carrying handle with a round plastic piece around the nylon so it's comfortable in the hand and easy to carry. It's got a pair of bungee straps on the bottoms for your poles. It's got a mesh side panel so your shoes can dry out. And it's also got a small zippered compartment to put miscellaneous stuff (put my pole tips & warranty in there). It fits my pair of 22" snowshoes very easily with room to spare. I'm sure it would easily accommodate 25". Not so sure about larger. The material is nice, thick and sturdy. Have a feeling this will last me a long time. Also, love the dark gray color with maroon accents. Just overall a quality product.

Purchased this because it is the MSR brand to use with my Women's 22 inch Lightning MSR snow shoes plus the tails and they all fit perfectly with the hiking sticks! There is still enough room to add more items like snacks, a Nalgene water bottle in addition to a regular size bike water bottle (see pics). I stored my shoes with the claws facing inside one another and turned one upside down so that the "toes" were in opposite direction. There is also a pocket that is approx 11 inches across at the top (closer to the zippered area) that tapers down to 9 inch across at the bottom and is 5 inches deep. In that pocket I was able to stuff in a size small Smartwool 250 mid layer long sleeve sweater along with my phone and a pair of size small soft Head brand gloves (Costco) into the pocket no problem. When I put it on I was able to secure it pretty tight and probably could run with it but I think I might have a little bit of bouncing. I did walk around the house and there was no bouncing but I can't say it won't bounce while actually hiking. I hope this helps someone else when looking for a snow shoe pack.

This bag is well made with a decent thickness of canvas like material that has a synthetic water resistant coating on some of the inside. The bag fits 25" MSR snowshoes closely with room for extension tails as described. Easily also fits a set of folding trekking poles inside and even some thin gaiters. Longer two or three section poles can be lashed on the outside straps as well. For the price, I was hoping for a bit thicker material and padding so I can stack gear without worry the shoes teeth pokes through. The fabric is not thin by any means, but you can still feel the teeth if you press hard. Most likely stacking gear will be fine and the bag will probably hold up nicely. The handle and carry strap also seem durable, but not exactly top comfort. Overall, if I had paid 25-30 I'd rate 5 stars. Since I paid nearly 40, I'd say 4 stars for value.

This bag works as advertised. It is great for storage and transport in your car. If you want a pack or something else for snowshoeing, buy a supplemental small pack.

Mountain Safety Research has assembled and designed a stout bag with tough, Denier materials, the coveted and rugged YKK zippers and useful and well throughout items like interior/ exterior stow pockets. Sadly, we have not had a "Winter" here in S.E. MI to travel with my gear, but when I do, I know like all MSR items it's ready for duty. Received very quickly, packaged perfectly...All is well!! Spend the extra few bucks, avoid reading hundreds of reviews and go buy it!!

ich habe mir diese Tasche bestellt weil Komperdell für seine teuren Carbon Air Frame Schneeschuhe nur ein etwas dürftiges und sehr filigranes Tragenetz mitliefert. Für diese Schneeschuhe passt diese Tasche eigentlich sehr gut wenngleich sie etwas eng und straff sitzt. Stört aber nicht wirklich. Sonst ist die Tasche top, vielleicht vergleichbar mit Atlas Taschen und um einiges besser ausgeführt als die Tubbs Standardtaschen (die durch die oben gelegene Befüllöffnung sehr hackelig sind). Ganz besonders gefällt mir bei dieser Tasche der über fast die gesamte Längsseite gehende Reissverschluss, der das Einbringen der Schneeschuhe sehr komfortabel macht!

Perfect bag for my MSR 25” Snowshoes They fit perfect in the bag! Even my MSR snowshoe extenders fit in it as well! I wouldn’t recommend this bag for 30” snowshoes, it would be too small!
