ULTIMATE PET NUTRITION Nutra Complete Freeze-Dried Dog Food, Chicken 3lb

I bought this food for my dog because it is freeze dried. She was already on a freeze dried product and it has done wonders for her diet. She is very allergic to certain dog foods. I have noticed she stops scratching, she actually loves the taste of the food and her entire personality improves. I use this food as a topper on her other food because it is a bit expensive, but I would say the money is well spent, considering she does not need to take allergic medications prescribed by the vet when on this food. I do highly recommend you try it and I think you will also be pleased with the outcome. No smell, no mess, easy to use, and the dog loves it.

My dog "BABY" loves it. She was 7 yrs. old when we got her from an elderly lady who couldn't take care of her anymore. I think it had something to do with her having trouble eating hard things now. This is only my opinion. This Ultimate Nutrition food is great for her. She loves it & It's easy for her to chew. She is a Chorkie, weighs 7.5 lbs. She is pretty smart too. In my opinion, this is pretty good food for my "BABY".

Originally ordered from the manufacturer but ran out during subscription so decided to get some quick on Amazon. I was sold by the commercial as to the claims it made and I have tried so many other brands before. My girl is over 14 years old and I was feeding raw already. As this brand is very expensive I supplement it with the raw i was feeding already. The changes in my girls health within a month was astonishing. It appears to have reduced and some days eliminated her leg shaking. I also give her their Nutra Thrive a couple f times a week. Together she’s doing so much better. She eats it up so it much be good. When you add the water it makes a gravy. The quality seems good, better than other freeze dried that breakdown fast/ turn to powder just touching it. Smells like real food when you prepare it. Only all good ingredients no bad. If you haven’t checked out the commercial with Rob Lowe do so. He says it all and normally I don’t trust endorsements however glad I did this time. There are other actors now endorsing dog food but I had found some to have hidden negative ingredients. This one is truly top notch.

Expensive to only feed so I mixed with his Eukanuba. Praise the Lord!!! This food first used by itself for two weeks. It not only kept him from chewing his paws also kept from licking his butt due to anal gland issues. He no longer has infection issues with his glands(mini Schnauzer). Due to the expense I changed Pedigree(my vet recommended) to Eukanuba. This combined with the Ultimate Pet has really helped my Ruger. I was extremely skeptical about this food. It is proven to me that it helps!! I did make a mistake and tried the Beef and he can’t handle beef protein. Upsets his stomach. Definitely back to the Chicken!! I wish it was more affordable but I know freeze drying is an expensive procedure. Ruger loves thy is food and at first had an issue of him gobbling it down to where he choked. After slowing him down, he is doing great!! Of course he gets more of the Ultimate than the other. Definitely saved with the vet and his infection and on verge of infections of the glands!

My very small senior dog (5 pound Chihuahua mix) is very picky about food. I constantly am on the hunt for something she will eat for more than a couple of weeks. I found this food on Amazon this week and ordered the 5-ounce package of chicken flavor. She absolutely loved it. In fact I don’t know how I could keep her to the three-quarter cup per day that she’s supposed to eat. But being very small with a very small mouth, jaw and teeth she had trouble chewing the cubes as they come even though they’re spongy. So I cut them in half, which wasn’t a big deal to do, and she was fine. She gobbled them down. Since she seems to like it so much, I ordered the 1-pound bag which arrived today. I didn’t want to jump right to the 3-pound because who knows, she could change her mind in a few days and not like it anymore and it’s VERY expensive. The 1-pound bag arrived today and I poured some of it out so I could cut the cubes in half and found the quality varies widely. Many or most of the cubes in the 1 pound bag are smaller and darker in color and harder than the fluffy ones in the 5-ounce bag and they’re hard to cut in half because they shatter into crumbs. Apparently they’re over dried. So right now I’m kind of on the fence whether I’m going to continue buying this product. I’ll go through the 1-pound bag and see if the whole bag is like that in which case I will not buy it anymore. Maybe just some of the ones that happened to be on the top of the bag that I started today are over dried ? Anyway, I’ll update this when I have a little more experience with the product.

I have the pickiest dog ever and have bought food before when it says “Your dog will love it!” MY DOG LOVES THIS FOOD! I really figured I would waste more $$. Believe the ad! Your dog will love it. Too early to tell what it does with skin issues, etc. 5 Star food! His poops are firm! No problem with digestion. Easy to use & no smell! He loves the taste of chicken!
