HAOZEE Z Wave Plus Water Sensor,Remote Probe,Water Resistant,ZWave Water Leak Sensor Compatible with Smartthings, Vera, Zipato, Iris and Fibaro

Was always wanting to pickup a leak sensor and at this price point - why not? Sensor arrived quickly and packaged well. Setup was a breeze. You just put a screw (included) through the base, yank the battery tab, and tap-tap-tap the button. You set it up as a Dome sensor in Wink - no issues finding it whatsoever and it's stayed connected so far. Dropped a star because...well, I haven't had a leak yet to make sure it actually works. I'll drop by and give another star if/when that happens.

Device was as described and was easy to setup as a generic z-wave sensor on my Wink Hub. Only concern is that the replaceable battery on one of the two devices was already discharged to 80% on arrival (missing paper isolator to keep battery fresh) Battery on the second unit was isolated and at 100%.

I would give this device 5 stars except that the signal seems to be a little weak. Once I added a z wave signal repeater device to extend the range to my Wink hub, it works perfectly so far!

I have a Vera Plus hub running the latest firmware this sensor is located about 15 feet away and it paired up fine, but then 3 days later the sensor went offline. I will check the battery and if the battery is dead I'll replace it and give the sensor another week but the initial impression isn't favorable.

I purchased two of these. One is working fine on Wink. The other one keeps going offline when it’s only 20’ away, the other one is working fine and that is in my finished basement. I don’t know what the warranty is but next time I’ll purchase Dome brand at least it won’t show up as a generic switch.

This description of this device states that it is compatible with Smart Things. It is not. I contacted Samsung as this company, Neo, is not in the pairing device list for the hub. I tried to pair it as another device but it is not recognized. There is no contact information that I can see on the directions that came with the device and the help web site appears to be only in Chinese. This is device is worthless for my needs. I have no idea if it works with other z-wave hubs or not. I am returning it to Amazon. Caveat emptor!

Paired with my controller easily. Remote sensor wire is perfect length for my location.Haven’t had a leak yet so I hope it functions.?.?

Sensor operates as designed. Motion sensor is very sensitive but works fine. Not sure on battery life yet but appears fine.
