Best gift.
We love these water dragons. My LO continues to use this and it's very easy to manage. (If you can remember to feed them.) Definitely follow the instructions but it's the gift that keeps on giving. not sure how but die and keep coming back even after months! great value for your money. Container is sturdy and does not leak. If used properly could provide educational value or just pure entertainment without a screen. very fun for kids to watch them grow.

Tank leaks💧Dragons die quickly
Bought as Xmas stocking stuffer for my son. We set tank up according to directions . Hatched the eggs and after a few days the dragons(water bugs) were swimming. Today I noticed as I set tank on kitchen counter near window to get some sunlight there was a puddle under the tank. Come to find out the clear part of tank is not completed enclosed then glued to the base. So basically there is no enclosed bottom. So whatever glue they use is doubling to seal both tank and base together. That’s a poor design. I read up on these tanks leaking. It’s more common than I thought. So I had to transfer water and dragons to a glass container for now. I may either return tank or maybe try to use marine glue to seal bottom. Problem is it’s a very narrow tank and I don’t want to ruin the led lights. Those were a big reason I got it as I thought it would also double as a night light for my son. Cool concept of a product but flawed in design.Updated January 18,2025 I bought aqua dragon eggs and food and clear tank at way lower price. I transferred the water from old faulty tank as website says that you can use same water as there are eggs and essential foods in the used water so a next generation of hatchlings will occur. Followed same directions maintained temp food and water airing a few hatched but not many and lasted only a few days then all died. I’m thinking this really isn’t a long lasting thing. Funny as a kid growing up we had water dragons or something like them that were as big as nickels. I used to catch them but the aqua dragons do not grow big. They die quick and my son and I are bummed. The tanks are so thin we can’t even reuse them to put a gokdfish or a betta in. This seemed like a great gift and that it would give us so much time of enjoyment but sadly it did not. Would I buy this again? No. I will buy a fish next time.

Good thing my son is patient
Such a great way to teach patience to my 8 year old. He couldn't wait until the dragons started to grow. When they became visible to the eye using the magnifier glass it comes with, it was exciting!

Awesome!
Such a neat item. We thought they all died off because after seeing movement for a few days they were all of sudden non-existent....but then one day the tank was full again! & growing larger daily. I think my husband is as excited about watching it as my grandson!

It’s okay
If your kid likes watching things grow it’s perfect. If you forget to circulate the water and feed them every 2-3 days they die. It’s low maintenance but annoying to keep up with.
