Solid Clam Chowder Option
I’ve had this soup a few times now, and it’s a good option. It’s creamy and filling, with chunks of potatoes and clams that give it that classic New England chowder feel. The flavor is good overall and it’s something I’d keep on hand for convenience.

Very good!
I love clam chowder and the brand I have eaten for more years than I can count, all of a sudden the taste changed. When from excellent to just plain blah. I decided to give the Progresso brand a try. I had to add a little salt, some fresh ground black pepper and a pat of butter but it was very good after that. Needed a little "doctoring" but made a satisfying lunch. As a senior who lives alone quick easy meals are a must! This fit the bill, was thick with just the right amount of clams that were not tough or rubbery and was not at all salty, as I added a little sea salt. Great value as well. I am pleased with my purchase.

Delicious soup in a convenient 4 pack
This is a great price for this soup. I like the four pack because I can take some to work and leave some at home. It's easy to prepare in the microwave; it takes about a minute to heat a full can (which is a double serving). It's delicious - think and creamy with lots of clams. Protein content in the whole can is 10% RDA. Not too salty. My soup arrived with an expiration date into 2027 so I'm happy with that.

Best tasting out of all of the Progresso soups
Mine came in a 4pack. I've bought online or in stores and have tried all the other soups, but I believe the clam chowder is the best tasting of them all. There's sufficient clam and potatoes in the can. However, I've always like to add carrots, broccoli, beans, extra potatoes, rice, diced chicken, or mushrooms into the mix, too. If the sodium content is too much I'd suggest mixing in more water or just using half the can. The soup has a very nice flavor and I'd recommend to all as A++. The reason for 4 stars is because I'd like to see it in a glass jar. I've read enough about BPA and can's plastic inner lining to know there could be some bad health effects. Bon Appetit!

Best Clam Chowder!
The best canned soup. Mostly healthy. A little butter or shredded cheese on top, and it is yummy! I don’t see this Clam Chowder restocked ☹️
