Yep - I see why it gets Consumer Reports' best rating
Here's a description of a side-by-side comparison between Nu Finish (NF) -- which gets 5 stars -- and TR3, which I would give 3.5 stars. In addition to TR3 and NF side-by-side, I also did a side-by-side test of TR3 *on top* of a coat of NF, and test of NF *on top* of a coat of TR3. My car is a medium deep turquoise 2006 commuter - not a show car. It gets detailed every few years and lots of car washes in-between. It's got some light scratches, scuffs and blemishes, but looks pretty new from a few feet away. I did my side by side comparison on the trunk lid. I washed it, and then used a clay-sponge to "clay" the surface smooth, using barely diluted dish soap for slickness. That works really good. Get one. On the left half of the trunk lid I used TR3. On the right, NF. Coming out of the bottle, TR3 is thicker, NF is thinner. APPLICATION -- TR3 goes on easier - it adheres to the paint right away (although, this make no difference in the final appearance.) NF takes a little more effort to 'coat' the surface and if you are applying it sparingly, you feel like you are wiping it off before it glazes over. So I used a little heavier hand and amount to apply NF. CLEANING -- TR3 cleans. NF doesn't. You can see it in your applicator pad. (I tried this on a really old weathered black mail box -- again, TR3 cleans.) But again, for final appearance -- TR3 does not have an advantage. DRYING and REMOVING -- They both dried in about the same time and get buffed off with about the same effort. No quibbles here. The reviews of NF consistently mention the white residue that remains in scratches, cracks and nicks, or on black plastic. Well, I managed to keep the stuff off of black plastic. For the residue in scratches, NF shows up a bit more than TR3, which also does the same - just not at much. APPEARANCE -- Side by side test -- On the first side-by-side comparison, NF wins hands down. (I didn't wait a day for NF to 'bake in' where many folks say it gets better.) On the right side of the trunk lid, NF was brighter, glassier / glossier, and more mirror-like. I would NOT say it's a wet look. TR3 was darker, and details in the reflections were less crisp and clear. Close up and from a distance, NF gets the award. APPEARANCE -- Second Side by side test -- Now I divided the left and right sides of the trunk in half horizontally, so I have four quarters. On one quarter I applied TR3 over NF and on the other quarter -- NF over TR3. Wait, dry, remove, buff... and.... I would have expected something like one quarter to really be amazing. In the end, there was ONE quarter that stood out clearly as the best (my favorite) ... which was the quarter with only NF. This was obviously looking the sharpest, brightest and best. For the two "overlay" quarters, not much happened. I suspect both second coats were not able to do much to change the appearance after the first coat of the other polish was already applied to the paint. But now, I had a trunk lid with 1/4 looking different that the other 3/4's. (This was obvious because I was looking at it, but it would not be obvious if someone was not looking for it. I asked a test subject to point out where the different polishes were applied, and she could spot the four quarters, but again, it would not be apparent if you are driving down the street.) In the end, I had to apply several more coats of NF to the other three quarters (all in the same afternoon) to get the trunk lid to look consistent. OTHER -- I recently resurfaced my headlights, but have had nothing to seal the plastic with. I tried both TR3 and NF on one light, and there is no apparent difference between the products (and clearly a big difference to the other headlight.) CONCLUSION -- Nu Finish wins. TR3 does work nicely, and frankly if you are not keen to noticing the difference, you might not notice. The finish of TR3 is a little duller and does not fill in the scuffs and swirls as nicely. TR3 seems to be a little darker and deeper and perhaps with a buffed out top wax, you'll get what you like. However for me, I'm not taking the time to go over my car again with a (short-lived) top wax. I'll give it another coat of Nu Finish in a month, like it suggests on the bottle. And for that, I should have what I need for another year.

Good overall polish, not for oxidation
This product is a good polish, but I bought it to repair oxidation on the paint of an old 1990โs sedan. It didnโt help that much but I will continue to use it

Removes Easily to Reveal a Glossy Shine
Recommended by a friend who worked for a car dealership for years, the Car Polish by Nu Finish in liquid form was used on my vehicle following the use of a clay bar kit. The results were amazing! The car's clearcoat was smooth and the glossy shine was really eye-catching. A 15-year-old vehicle looked like new after using this stuff, and according to my friend, I should only have to use it once a year. The liquid polish is easier to use than the cream (in my opinion) and it takes very little to get an area of the car covered. I put a small amount on a damp cloth to put it on my vehicle. Removing it with a soft microfiber cloth is also easy after it dries to a light haze. It's easy to see on dark-colored paint, but I struggled to see it on light-gray paint. It will also adhere to dark trim, so take care when using it next to that on your vehicle. I did small areas and let them dry before rubbing the product off. I was pleasantly surprised by the glossy shine left behind, and the paint didn't feel greasy, sticky or waxy - just smooth. We have not yet had wet weather, nor have I washed the vehicle since using this product, but I expect it will hold up well (again, according to my friend). I'm happy I purchased it and used it. It was easy to put on and remove and worked as expected. I would recommend it to others who are looking for a product that protects the clearcoat on their paint while adding a glossy shine.

This actually WORKS, as advertised!
I have a 1971 Ford Bronco, that I just bought as a "Barn Find" . It had over 50 years of faded/ patina RED paint. It looked hopeless. This product brought it back to factory luster and shine. HIGHLY recommend this product. The 2 pack deal was an EXCELLENT value. I will buy from this seller again when needed. Rick G.

Best bang for the buck sealant!
This is the best bang for the buck paint sealant! I've had it for over 2 years and yes it does last 12+ months. Use at least 2 coats, after 2 you won't really notice a difference. I wanted a paint sealant that provides the best shine with lasting results. This did not make it to my #1 list, however, for $8.99 it is clearly the best value! I tested 3 products purchased from Amazon that had the most positive reviews. Ranked in order of effectiveness: Liquid Glass LG-100 $19.91 Chemical Guys JetSeal $29.83 Nu Finish Lquid Car Polish $8.99 I tested each of the products on different parts of the car to separate the results. Each were tested on a black and white car. The black car naturally had the best results, however, the white car was not that bad. Liquid Glass LG-100 Black car. Truly gives a mirror like finish. Your black car will never look better, it gives a crystal clear mirror like shine, much better than how it looked when the dealer sold it to you! No exaggeration. White car. It was a beautiful partly cloudy day with blue skies. After applying the LG-100 I instantly noticed that I could see the reflection of the beautiful sky on my car's white finish! That's how amazing this stuff is, truly a mirror like finish. I believe it when they say it, Liquid Glass. Chemical Guys JetSeal Black car. Results were not as amazing as LG-100. It gives it a shine, a lasting protection, but for the price I would definitely prefer LG-100. White car. Clear shine, lasting protection. Nu Finish Liquid Polish Black car. Results are pretty instant, you'll notice a difference right away. Best used in the sun so you can actually see the difference. The shine is actually a blurry type shine, so if you want a mirror like finish I'd stay away from this product. I do recommend this product for the budget conscious. For its low price, it works! From a distance the black car will look new, as if it came straight from the dealer. I get compliments all the time on my 2011, people think it's a 2016. However, close up, the results are not as great as Liquid Glass LG-100. White car. Like the black car, it works, it lasts 12 months, but the gloss is kind of wavy. Looks like batches of blur close up. Not horrible, just not great if you really want that mirror finish. For the budget conscious, definitely recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Nu Finish Liquid Car Polish NF-76, and I am absolutely blown away by the results! This product is an absolute game-changer when it comes to achieving a stunning shine for your car or truck. I can confidently say that it deserves every bit of its five-star rating. First and foremost, the application process is incredibly easy. The liquid polish spreads smoothly and evenly, allowing for effortless coverage. I appreciate the consistency of the product, as it doesn't drip or create a mess. A little goes a long way, so a single bottle lasts for multiple applications, which is excellent value for money. The most impressive aspect of Nu Finish Liquid Car Polish is undoubtedly its ability to bring out a deep, lustrous shine. Once applied and buffed, my vehicle's surface looked like a mirror, reflecting the surrounding environment flawlessly. It completely rejuvenated the paint and gave it a showroom-worthy finish that caught the attention of everyone who saw it. One aspect that sets this polish apart from others I have tried is its long-lasting protection. The advanced polymer technology forms a protective barrier on the paintwork, shielding it from harmful elements such as UV rays, acid rain, and road grime. Even after weeks of exposure to the elements, the shine remained intact, showcasing the durability of Nu Finish. Another standout feature is the polish's versatility. Whether you have a car, truck, or any other vehicle, Nu Finish works wonders on all surfaces. It effortlessly removes light scratches and swirl marks, enhancing the overall appearance of your vehicle. The polish is safe to use on various surfaces, including clear coats, fiberglass, and chrome, making it a reliable all-in-one solution. I also appreciate the fact that Nu Finish is a trusted brand with a long-standing reputation. Their commitment to quality is evident in this product, and it's clear they understand what car enthusiasts need to maintain the appearance of their beloved vehicles. In conclusion, Nu Finish Liquid Car Polish NF-76 is a standout product that truly delivers on its promises. Its easy application, incredible shine, long-lasting protection, and versatility make it an absolute must-have for anyone who wants their vehicle to look its best. If you're seeking a liquid polish that will exceed your expectations and leave your car or truck gleaming, I wholeheartedly recommend giving Nu Finish a try. You won't be disappointed!
