I'm just beginning my real estate investing journey and I think this is a good starter book. This was the first book I'm reading on the topic, so I don't know what I don't know yet, but I feel more confident in what my next steps will be as I continue to increase my knowledge on the topic. It is EXTREMELY repetitive on some of the more basic "duh" content (ex. clear communication is important, do your due diligence, etc.), but contained some new, insightful information that I will benefit from. I appreciated the supplemental content included within the book as well. I would recommend the authors to condense some of the fluff in the next edition, and perhaps give more examples of property and market analysis as I found those helpful.

My wife and I make decent money but we are so scared to enter our current market. This book really reduced our anxiety and dispelled a lot of myths regarding home ownership. The information shared is direct but not overly complex. I really appreciate the authors writing style too. I learned more about real estate from this book than lectures/seminars i’ve gone too. Real estate can be so lucrative and rewarding if it’s done right and I now have the confidence I can succeed in it. The info feels illegal, but in a great way. No one teaches you this anywhere.
