I'm preparing for a long motorcycle trip and decided to look for a bag to replace my Kuryakyn, which in many ways is a very good quality bag, but I always felt that its round shape provided less room for its footprint compared to a rectangular shape. After shopping around, I wound up ordering this Rhinowalk 60L bag. For about the same footprint as the Kuryakyn, the Rhinowalk has much more room, and items simply fit in it better. I saw some comments about the zippers not being high quality, but I found them to be fine. Maybe that's because I've seen some REALLY cheap zippers. :-) Notably, they slide to open and close easily and don't hang up. I suppose every zipper has its limits, so I wouldn't cram too much in the bag so that you are having to force the zippers closed. Otherwise. I don't foresee any problems. The bag overall is well-made and comes with a nice set of straps. I already made my own nylon tie-down straps with snap hooks and D-rings, so I don't need their tie-down straps. With that said, they should work in most applications. The bag also comes with a couple of nice 36" nylon straps with cam buckles that hold very well. There is an adequate number of D-rings on the bag to make tying it down pretty easy. I know that the bag is not waterproof, but it looks to me that it will repel at least light and maybe even moderate rains. I can see where the zippers might let in a little water compared to the Kuryakyn's very high quality zippers, but the construction of the bag would appear to provide some protection against that. The rain cover comes in a small stuff bag, so it's easy to take along. The rain cover has an elastic band at the bottom and a built-in bayonet strap for extra security. I haven't actually used the bag yet, but based on observation, I'm optimistic that it will do the job just fine. Update: Just completed 6,700 miles of riding, and the 60L bag worked out great. It has all the capacity I need and the side storage areas were handy. I didn't run into any serious rain, so I cannot comment on water resistance, but I probably would not bother with the rain cover unless the rain was pretty heavy. As I mentioned, I used my own straps to tie down the bag, but I did attach a provided strap to each side rail to prevent any lateral sliding just for insurance. I'm happy with this purchase.

This bag turned out to be great for my purposes. It expanded as needed when I decided to purchase souvenirs on my trip. It's light weight, has side pockets and just the right amount of d rings for me. The d rings are plastic so might not last as long as a metal one. Both sides open as does the top for easy access while on the road. Comes with straps to attach to bike. Look at the pics and video in the add. Pretty much as advertised. Not waterproof unless you use the included separate cover.

Easy to install and good quality bag. I ride 500 miles a week traveling usually 90MPH. This bag is secure and has ample amount of space. Easy to take off when I get home and keep inside overnight and easy to snap back on when I’m ready to go.

This duffel is everything you want. I just completed a rough weather, rough terrain, 5700 mile 21 state moto camping trip and this bag did it all. I was able to store everything I needed for the trip and still had the ability to expand the bag for more room. It fit very well on my detachable luggage rack and was very easy to strap down with the provided straps. It never came loose or moved either, except when I laid the bike down on a dirt road. Even then, it barely moved and I had to completely disconnect it to remove it. See photo. Removal was a breeze with the clip style straps it comes with. I rode through 2 separate hurricanes on this trip and never had an issue with wet luggage. This was all without the rain cover due to having my tent strapped to the top of the bag, which was very convenient. It looks like a good quality item and feels that was as well. I highly recommend this duffle for anyone looking for one of this size and style. This thing held up to some abuse and is still in excellent condition. We're excited to use this on future trips around the country.

I recently went on a USA cross country motorcycle trip for 35 days in July and used this bag every day on my Harley Davidson Road Glide. Some days it was pouring rain, others it was bright and sunny. I drove through 40 degree weather through Crater Lake National Park in Oregon all the way to 110 degrees in the flat of New Mexico and the Valley of Death in California. Pros: The bag strapped down to the top of my tour pack relatively easy. Once you have the straps set in place in the correct location (according to your bike model) it is easy to take the bag on and off by clipping and unclipping. The bag has a lot more space than i anticipated. I was able to carry clothes for a week in the center pouch of the bag. I utilized the extra space extension of the bag. The side pouches were nice for carrying toiletries, chargers, extra gear, etc. The zippers functioned well. The bag was mostly waterproof, but would allow some water and dampness in on rainy days if the rain cover was not used. The materials that the bag is made are quality and held up for the entire trip. Cons: The rain cover quality diminished within the 35 days of riding which is disappointing. I didn't use the rain cover every day, maybe 20 of the 35 days it was actually used. The material itself started to break down and flakes would fall off of the cover. Overall I am happy with the purchase of the bag for the price you pay. Ultimately it would be nice if the bag was completely water proof rather than water resistant.

I e used countless packing, dry bags, cases etc over the decades for on and off road motorcycling and I was impressed by the Rhinowalk. The only downside was the waterproof cover doesn’t have any way for the mounting straps to go through (maybe add these Rhinowalk). The mounting straps were great. Super easy to use and the locking adjusters were perfect. I have a ton of space and the way the pockets are placed made it easy to get items during the ride without hassle. I didn’t use the expansion on this first trip I felt he weakened the structure of the case for my proposes (I lean back while riding and use it as a cushion). I’ll be checking out there other items.

I love this bag for distance riding! I rode from Raleigh, NC to Destin, FL with this bag, and it stayed secure and stable throughout the entire trip. It's super easy to attach and detach as necessary, and the clips are long enough to fit multiple variations of bikes. I didn't run into much weather, so can't speak on the waterproof-ness, but it does come with a cover, which I would expect to be waterproof.

Excellent quality for value. Storage capacity is more than ample but it also unzips on both ends to expand of you need a little extra room. Has a water proof cover so no need to worry about wet clothes.

Good Bag but is not waterproof

Für meinen Urlaub mit dem Motorrad musste unbedingt eine gescheite Gepäcktasche her, die auf den Sozius-Sitz passt. Die Anforderungen waren: - Genug Stauraum für einen mehrwöchigen Urlaub - Robust und Formstabil - Vernünftige Befestigungsmöglichkeit fürs Motorrad - Wasserdicht Zur Auswahl standen verschiedene Größen, habe mich dann für die 40L - 60L Variante entschieden - und bereue es nicht! Die Gepäcktasche ist durch den eingearbeiteten Stahldraht absolut Formstabil, dazu ist eine gute und stabile Bodenplatte mit eingerabeitet. Dadurch "hängt" die Gepäcktasche nicht an den Seiten wie ein Sack nach unten. Auf 40L ist die Tasche noch Formstabiler, da in den Seiten Bodenplatten befestigt sind, die benötigt werden, wenn die Tasche auf 60L vergrößert wird. Ob auf 40L oder 60L, die Form ist und bleibt stabil. Im Hauptfach befinden sich 2 Befestigungen, womit zum einen Gegenstände am Boden fixiert werden können, aber auch ein "Ausbeulen" verhindern. Zusätzlich gibt es noch Seitentaschen für diversen Kleinkram (Powerbank, Snacks, Kabel, whatever). Zusätzlich gibt es oben noch ein Gummiband, z.B. für den Schlafsack, und noch weitere Befestigungsösen. Als Regenschutz wird eine Hülle mitgeliefert, die über einen verstellbaren Gummizug verfügt, sowie über ein Gewebeband, das unterhalb der Tasche verschlossen wird. Damit ist ein versehentliches "abfliegen" der Hülle während der Fahrt nahezu ausgeschlossen. Pro - Variabler Stauraum - Sehr Formstabil - Gute Befestigungsmöglichkeiten fürs Motorrad - Sehr gute Lösung für den Regenschutz - Stabile Reißverschlüsse - Stabile Bodenplatten, die ein Durchhängen verhindern - Zusätzliche Befestigungsmöglichkeiten für weitere Gegenstände - Verschließbare Reißverschlüsse (Schlösser sind nicht im Lieferumfang) - Regenschutz ist wirklich Wasserdicht Contra Bisher nichts gefunden Die Tasche hat jetzt schon ein paar Reisen hinter sich und ist nach wie vor Formstabil. Aus meiner Sicht ein sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Ich habe schon einige Hecktaschen und Rollen über viele Jahre in Betrieb gehabt. Was mich immer gestört hat, war der komplizierte Zugriff auf den Inhalt. Meistens alle Spanngurte lösen, mit denen die Tasche auf der Maschine befestigt ist, damit die Tasche geöffnet werden kann. Bei Rollen oder wasserdichten Taschen mit Rollverschluss muss dann der Rollverschluss geöffnet werden, bis man „drin“ ist, und anschliessend der ganze Vorgang wieder umgekehrt, einschliesslich neuer Verspannung auf der Maschine. Darum haben mich die Beschreibung und die Bilder der Rhinowalk Tasche neugierig gemacht, und auch der Preis schien eine faire Sache zu sein. Was soll ich sagen? Nach der nun ersten Tour über mehr als 3.000 km bin ich schlichtweg begeistert! Die Tasche ist zwar schwer, bietet aber eine unglaubliche Fülle an Verpack- und Verzurrmöglichkeiten. Durch die Befestigung an der Maschine ohne umlaufende Gurte, die über die Tasche verlegt werden müssen, ist der Zugang zum grossen Hauptfach von oben jederzeit möglich. Einfach Reissverschluss öffnen und den Deckel wegklappen, und schon ist man „drin“. Aber nicht nur der Haupt-Stauraum ist auf diese Weise zugänglich, auch die seitlichen Ladeklappen können jederzeit völlig problemlos geöffnet und wieder geschlossen werden (Reissverschluss). Dabei spielt es keine Rolle, ob die Tasche quer auf dem Motorrad liegt oder längs transpiertiert wird. Beispiel? Ich war bei grosser Hitze mit 2 x 1,5 Liter Wasserflaschen unterwegs, die liegend im seitlichen Stauraum untergebracht waren. Unterwegs anhalten und trinken oder leere Flasche austauschen gegen eine neue? Reissverschluss und Seitenklappe auf, Flasche raus und wieder rein. Alles ohne einen einzigen Verschluss oder Gurt zu lösen! Sensationell! Sinnvoll auch die vielen kleinen Zusatztaschen, die ausserdem auch noch mit Trennfächern ausgestattet sind. Da geht alles rein, was im schnellen Zugriff sein muss: Sonnenmilch, Regenklamotten und Regenhaube, Stahlseil zur Helmsicherung, Schultergurt, usw. Qualitativ machen das Material der Tasche und die Verarbeitung einen guten Eindruck. Ein Tränchen muss ich rausdrücken: 2 der von mir am meisten benutzten Reissverschlüsse haken immer mal wieder ein bisschen, aber damit kann ich leben. Und auf der letzten Tour hat sich ein Ring des Vierpunkt-Befestigungssystems gelöst. Die Schraube, mit der Ring an der Tasche befestigt ist, hat sich einfach verabschiedet. Gottseidank ist der Ring selbst in der Aufsteck-Lasche sitzen geblieben, so dass ich ihn einfach mit einer neuen Schraube wieder anbringen kann. Also: bei dieser Tasche haben sich die Entwickler wirklich was gedacht. Bin begeistert und kann sie nur empfehlen.
