Great for diabetic diets. Acceptable texture. I make my husband several meals in commercial containers at a time & leave in fridge so he can eat when he wants to--just these or hearts of palm noodles, good handful of mixed chopped veggies, any protein source --he likes smoked brisling sardines, shrimp, sausages, meatballs, chicken, cut up leftover meats---there are a million choices. He likes them heated in the microwave for a minute or so, & adds sugar free BBQ sauce, ketchup, sweet chili sauce---whatever fits his mood.
