If you use the belt clips on your tools it can be a tight fit, but works. On assembly I started with the bottom hanger shelf, as instructed. It was then hard to fit my hands between the shelves to tighten bolts on the second shelf, but with a ratchet driver and extension, and a magnet tool to hold the nut in place I managed. It is easier if you insert the bolts from inside and the nut on the outside, as the nut is then much easier to hold onto while starting the threads. My 1940's garage wall has studs on 24" centers, so I use a backing board. I did not check whether the screw mounting holes are set up for 16" centers. If not, just use a backing board. I like the grate style shelf on top that makes it perfect for circular saws.
