This is not only fashionable but practical. It will protect your head. I apologize because I gave a review off of the assessment of a lazy person I asked to check them out. Highly critical of everything and everyone but themselves. Anyway this is literally the coolest hard hat I've ever come across. I'm glad I inspected them before I returned them. I'm NOT RETURNING THEM NOW. MATTER OF FACT TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH IM GOING TO BE ORDERING MORE AND SHOWING THEM OFF TO EVERYONE I KNOW IN CONSTRUCTION! They are comfortable, they look like a normal hat and they breathe. Like seriously I'm hooked. You guys have a loyal customer for life. These are amazing. Sorry for the bad review. I was wondering because literally every review I seen was good. Then she tells me they suck. I'm like oh well that's unfortunate I'll start the return process. I inspect them and literally turn the guy away who came to pick them up and looked at her like....really? Lol Buy some you'll love em!

Ease of use: Bought this for work, and it’s exactly what I needed. Comfortable to wear for hours, and the safety insert adds great protection without making it bulky

The cap shipped quickly and I was excited to receive it in the mail. The main purpose for me was to use this as an added measure of protection in protest/riot situations where you don't want to stand out. The cap won't protect you the same way that a ballistic helmet would, obviously, but it is still better than nothing which was my purpose. It does have a slightly funny fit due to the protective plastic case inside -- so the top of your head looks like it is bulging a little un-naturally, but I haven't been able to find a similar safety cap that doesn't protrude in any way. Otherwise it is farily comfortable and should hopefully do its job well.

My husband has fallen several times and "conked" the back of his head (stumbles and falls over backward), so I ordered this hat/helmet. Be aware it is like a standard "baseball cap" with the velcro strap in the back for sizing (larger or smaller head), so there is NO padding at the back of the head (except the small velcro strap). Overall it's a good fit for front and side security, so I'm going to devise some sort of insert to protect the back of his head. Very slightly heavier than a standard baseball cap, but not anything to be bothered with. There are 4 vent holes if it worn in the heat, but overall glad we got it.

Fits great and will work perfect when I am under the camper slide outs and forget they are there. The price is great for the quality you get. Perfect for stopping the head bumps you don't see.

My husband falls frequently because of a medical condition. To protect his head I always made him wear a baseball cap, which really was not much protection. I then turned to Amazon to look for a "baseball cap hard hat". This cap is very sturdy yet comfortable and has saved his head numerous times. It has the appearance of a regular cap so no one can tell. The price was very reasonable, so we ordered two. Believe me, I cannot say enough about this cap. It is literally a lifesaver. Anyone with any type of balance issues should order this cap.

Cap wears very well, and I did not have any issues with perspiration. I'm sure that will happen during the warmer months of the year, but for now perspiration is not a problem. And for those that are having a problem with it, simply but a small towel or hanky on your head before putting on the cap. I think your head protection is more important, than a little perspiration. The cap fits well, and it is adjustable to fit. I will be ordering more for my employees. Head accidents are not a problem in my business, but since all of the guys wear caps, why not protect those noggins against the occasional bump on the heads that they do encounter. You can not go wrong with this cap, and it does not even really look like a hard hat at all.

Works well and performs its intended function. Having worn it for over a month now, it has saved my head from many of the lovely dangers that contractors leave in the ceiling plenums. The Velcro size adjuster in the back is a welcome sight, as most baseball-style caps use those horribly obsolete plastic pins that never seem to hold. This only receives four stars though because the ventilation needs work. Condensation builds up on the inside after only wearing it for 15 minutes, and I have to take it off and air it out frequently.

Materials quality is perfect, but design wise it must have a better ventilation, Not only me , but all of our team members who got one of it complained about his head sweating 😓

Very comfortable and well made. I am replacing an old bump cap of same make and model after a long service. Very nice.

Perfect gift. Was great quality and perfect for cottage work and outside jobs for extra protection

The hat is not very comfortable, I will try it but might end up returning to a more comfortable hard hat.
