Exactly what I needed for the flue on my outdoor wood burner. No need to remove the flue to cover the fire as it's now protected from the rain. The protective film was easy to remove, and although it was slightly fiddly, it was a perfect fit to slot inside the flue securely. Really happy with it and very good value.

The blurb tells you to remove the white protective film that covers the stainless steel. Well, beware, as it took me an hour to get this stuff off. It doesn't just peel off as you'd expect; the adhesive on mine refused to budge wityh alcohol sprayed on and even a hot blow from a hair dryer. What is the purpose of this film? There are other ways to protect it during transit. How about cling film, bagging it or just leaving it in the box it's delivered in.

I bought this for my Ooni Karu 16 chimney, as I was afraid the stone may crack if I was caught by a heavy shower while cooking with it. This Cowl fits perfectly the Karu 16 chimney and does not affect ventilation and temperature. The large hood keeps the rain completely out of the oven, tested successfully 3 times already. Now I can make great pizza even when there is a chance of rain, all the family is happy and I need a cooking umbrella!

needed a cheap cowl for a shed in the woods. This is a bit flimsy and tinny, three small rivets hold it together but these aren't the best. I wouldn't want this up o my house roof, but should be ok in sheltered woods. Comes with protective wrap on the steel, which is just cut, not filed smooth, so mind fingers

The colour of this goes well with the new piece of roofing, , two screws to secure it job done, good fit , easy to install, ..

Pleased with this non magnetic genuine Stainless Steel Flue cowl / rain cap. it Fits Exactly ( Very snug fit as well ) Over the OUTSIDE of my 150mm flue pipe, as it should ! ( do not cut this and squash it on the inside of your flue pipe like one moron has done !! realy ??? ) .

Stayed in place during several storms.
