Review: Sturdy, Comfortable & the Best Roller Frame I’ve Used - I bought the Wooster Brush RR028 Jumbo-Koter Shergrip Roller Frame (11-inch) for repainting my living room walls and trim — and it honestly made the whole job easier. Why It Stands Out ✔ Solid Build Quality: This isn’t a flimsy roller frame you’ll want to replace after one use. The metal and plastic feel durable and well-made. ✔ Smooth Rolling Action: The roller glides evenly on the rails with no wobble or catching — which makes for a smoother paint application, especially with thicker wall paints. ✔ Comfortable Grip: The Shergrip handle is ergonomically shaped and doesn’t dig into my hand, even after an hour of painting. Grip feels secure even with paint on my hands or gloves. Performance on the Job I paired this with several 11-inch covers, and the frame handled both light and heavier nap rollers confidently. I didn’t notice any looseness or play in the cage, and it kept the paint flowing consistently. Final Thoughts This is exactly what I wanted in a roller frame — reliable, comfortable, and built to last. If you paint regularly or even just for occasional DIY jobs, this feels like a professional-grade upgrade from basic frames. Highly recommend.
