Easy to follow instructions, so easy to actually install and the netting is big enough I can redo the top of my 10g at least 6 times. It looks amazing, letting my tank breathe and leaves easy access for my plants. The plants on top of the tank aren’t light and this net hold them up like a champ. The magnets are also much sturdier than they look and clamp/sit in place strongly.

Not hard to do. I love being able to customize. Setup a cover for my 75 gallon. If you read the instructions you should have no problem figuring out if you need more footing. This was enough for my 75 gallon with a little left over. If you have a larger tank I would recommend buying two or purchasing a larger size.

Would probably be ok for a 10 gallon tank but nothing more. I tried to use it for one side of my 240 gallon aquarium and there were not enough building materials to do the job. Says it covers 7 ft wich is true of the mesh, but there is not enough of anything else to cover the 7 ft they claim. In addition the materials fell into the tank as soon as I finished it. I had to tie the mesh material around hoses on one side of the tank due to lack of materials and because it wouldn't work around the hoses anyways. The mesh kept falling into the tank because there is no middle support for it and the magnet got a little wrt and peeled back up immediately. Put any kind of tension on the mesh to keep it out of the water and it will pull away from the opposite side. So if you have pump hoses or anything larger than a 10 gallon dont waste your money. Wish I could give this less than one star because now Ive used the materials so won't be getting a refund.

For the price, this is great. I set up a saltwater tank and it requires so much stuff hanging off that the lid that came with the tank was useless. A friend sent me this and said it worked for her and it’ll work for me, too. It’s easy to install (except taking the red backing off the clips). Plenty of net but I’d like a little more magnet in case of mistakes. The vid is helpful even though my tank was already up and running so I had to do a lot more cutting than they did but I imagine that if your tank is still empty it’ll be a breeze and look a lot better than mine but since what it replaced was awful, I’m quite happy with this. Not sure I’ll use it forever but it’s keeping my fish in for now and that’s what I need. Leave slack when installing. You can always trim more later. Luckily there’s enough netting to do it a couple times if you screw up. Overall very happy with my purchase. You can see in my vid I have a lot of stuff on the edges so it was a bit of a chore but honestly not bad. I do recommend trimming the magnet and the clip at the same time to save a little hassle.

Well, it’s not pretty and it’s not sturdy. The kit was definitely not made for a hexagon as a lot of of the pieces will not fit, but I was desperate like a lot of people with hexagon aquariums and didn’t know where else to look for a suitable lid to keep my cats out. . It’s not pretty and if a cat sits on it, they’re gonna fall in, but I guess it’s better than nothing for now.

Great product, the shape and size of the mesh is better than others on Amazon.

I would HIGHLY suggest buying this product only before you have a cycled tank or before you fill it with water. This was one of THE most frustrating things to assemble, not that it was difficult but because I already had an established tank with hoses and cords and plants coming out the back it made the whole process very frustrating. The net kept falling in when I was attaching the magnets to the back it was bent all wonky and trying to adjust it slightly made it fall in the water again. Any kind of maintenance done in the future is going to be a pain in the *** because the net will probably continue to fall in, completely defeating the purpose of it. On top of that the back corners aren’t even flush

Leider muss ich sagen, dass ich von der magnetischen Fisch-Aquarium-Abdeckung enttäuscht bin. Die Idee hinter dem Produkt ist großartig, aber die Ausführung lässt zu wünschen übrig. Die Magnetstreifen sind extrem schwach und das Netz sowie die PVC-Streifen lösen sich ständig ab. Alle Strips sind aus einem Material gefertigt, das richtig unflexibel ist. Dies führt dazu, dass das Netz und andere Bauteile ständig ins Wasser fallen. Um das Produkt überhaupt nutzen zu können, bräuchte es deutlich stärkere Magnetstreifen. Leider ist dies ein absoluter Fehlkauf und ich kann es nicht weiterempfehlen.
