This motherboard is an excellent budget option, especially since it comes with the CPU and 8GB of RAM pre-installed—perfect for my needs. This was brought for an update, easy to install as there was no extra parts to buy. I very pleased with my purchase.

Item as described, came within a few days, quicker than the estimated time of potential delivery in fact, bought it as an upgrade to a 10 year of AMD AM3 socket based motherboard with quad core processor fitted on there, so this Quad core Ryzen processor and ASUS motherboard combo with supplied ram was a good upgrade, for a standard 400watt power supply with the old standard 2x2 12 volt power supply lead that you used to have on the older motherboards, so I did not have to buy an upgraded power pack with the 4x4 12 volt power lead, making it an easy upgrade to do for a novice of which I am not, but anyone with a bit of knowledge could replace this, the Ryzen processor had the built in graphics capability so the onboard graphics ports of which there was an HDMI port and a VGA port enabled me to split my windows 10 desktop over two displays using both ports which was the setup I had previously but with a separate graphics card which had two outputs in my old system, powered up first time and installed windows 10 and all the supplied drivers from ASUS, easy Peasy :) value for money too :)

Components came pre-assembled and easy to install. AMD does not disappoint and handles all tasks effortlessly. Superb combo and would definitely recommend.

Good quality components are a must when building PCs for others and the AMD Ryzen 5600G offers a lot of performance at a reasonable price especially as it features pretty reasonable on-board graphics. With the Asus Micro ATX board (lots of facilities) and 8GB of RAM you have a good basic PC at a very reasonable cost once a case, power supply and storage device have been added.

Model reviewed: AMD Ryzen 3 2200G 3.5Ghz (Turbo 3.7Ghz) Quad Core CPU, ASUS Prime A320M-K Motherboard & 8GB RAM. I bought this pre-assembled and tested motherboard to upgrade my Windows 7 PC bought in 2011. First I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 using the old motherboard, then activated the new Windows, lastly I swapped the motherboards. Note that the new blanking plate fitted perfectly in place of the old one on the PC rear panel. I followed the instructions in the enclosed leaflet, noting that the RAM stick was in the ‘B’ socket and not the ‘A’ socket as indicated in the diagram (can’t grumble too much as the stick is a 2666MHz one which is an upgrade). Having carefully transferred all the cables to the new motherboard and moved the RAM stick across I plugged in the PC and restarted it. The hardware change was detected and I entered the new BIOS, where everything seemed in order. After Save and Exit the PC continued to boot up perfectly. There appeared to be no need to use the installation CD as everything runs fine, but I may take a look to see if it adds any useful features. I needed to re-activate Windows 10 after the hardware change but from there it’s been plain sailing. I am very impressed with the new motherboard and it runs very quietly using the PC for my modest needs of browsing, emails, word-processing and amateur radio. My previous computer experience is not much - simple PC maintenance, mainly reinstalling software and replacing the odd RAM stick and hard drive but I have not replaced a motherboard before. Having now succeeded with a major overhaul of my PC, I can completely recommend this product. The instruction booklet recommends a minimum PSU spec of 350W but I am running it on a 500W one.

I used this to repair and upgrade my old pc as a gift for my son, so far its working great but haven't extensively tested it. Dur to my son only visits every other weekend theirfore it's not heavily used. I was a little disappointed that it came assembled as I enjoy doing that my self, though probably a positive for a lesser technical person to get as it is essentially adjust mounting pins route cables and plug and go.

item arrived well packed and assembled fitted in my case with no bother and worked first time i found that it is a very good replacement for packard bell istart 2380 computers as it fits well and the leads just plug in to the new mother board so if you want to upgrade such computers it is a good fit only thing is you will need ssd drives as there is no ide ports all in all it turned and old win 7 computer into one that could run win 10 and give it a new lease of life
