I love this necklace and wear it everyday! I have been looking for a simple classy gold necklace. I’m a silver girl that has recently converted to gold. This is definitely a lighter gold. Not very yellow so it doesn’t look like the fake tacky gold. It’s heavy, good quality. Perfect length. I’ve had it over a month now and still looks brand new. I don’t wear it in the shower but I wear it to bed most nights and it is holding up great. Does not feel cheap. If you’re looking for a pale gold daily necklace this is the one! Pros: Great/heavy quality Can sleep in it Doesn’t tarnish Clasp stays in the back! (Doesn’t slide to the front) Cons: Clasp is a little challenging to do by yourself because the ring is small. (especially if you have long nails)

I’ve worn it a few times now, including in the shower once (by accident), and it hasn’t tarnished yet, which is a good sign — but I’d still be cautious with water long-term since it’s gold plated. This necklace is super cute and dainty and I've gotten so many compliments on it. The problem is that because I'm the kind of person who cannot be bothered to put on new jewelry every day, or take it off at night, I will put something on and wear it until the wheels fall off. That's exactly what I did with this necklace. I put it on in November 2024, and now that it's August 2025, it's ready to be retired to the trash. I've worn it every day since putting it on and that includes in the shower. I don't use any harsh chemicals or body washes or actives in my body care routine, so it's literally just contacted soap, shampoo and maybe the occasional spritz of perfume - no pools, no beach, not even much lotion or anything. And it's so faded. I probably should've taken it off a month or two ago, but I didn't have a replacement for it, and I kept convincing myself that the chain still looked... kind of gold-tinted (it doesn't.). Thankfully, it's cheap enough that a replacement is easy to get, but it's annoying and wasteful to have to constantly replace jewelry. This could, of course, likely be mitigated by me taking off the necklace every night before showering and not wearing it literally 24/7, but I'm of the mind that you shouldn't have to pamper the stuff you wear too much, or else it's more trouble than it's worth. I would say that I got a good 6 months of continuous wear out of this before it started to fade, so if it's worth it to you to spend $13-14 twice a year for this necklace, or you're a better person than I am and only wear it occasionally or are good about taking it off before showering, this is definitely the purchase for you. It's worth it to me, which is why I'm leaving this review and coming back to buy a replacement. :P

Another great jewelry item from PAVOI, I love it. The chain is delicate but strong and the teardrop pendant looks very elegant. I really love that the necklace is fully adjustable to create the length you desire.
