Hi, I had these on my 2500 but recently got a 2020 silverado 1500 would these fit?

I removed these from my 2017 2500 diesel and just wondering if the will fit on a 2017 gmc sierra 1500 ?

You may be able to mount the steps on a gasoline vehicle, but they will still sit in the same way as they did on the diesel vehicle. If there are the same holes in the rocker panels at the front of the vehicle, you may be able to install the steps.

how much more distance do these steps drop than the stock one?

The AMP Research steps drop 6-7 inches from the pinch weld. AMP also makes an optional 2 inch extension kit that can be added to these running boards to make a total drop of 8-9 inches.
